  we were called to another meeting.

  I Like Beef, But This Made Me ILL !

  with the mad cow controversy that has been raging on now, a lot of consumers, including myself, are a lot more informed about what what contitutes "animal feed"

  britain and europe have banned slaughterhouse waste being used as feed, but canada has not yet done so.

  what shocked me in the following article was the extent of all slaughterhouse remains that are used, even to the point of weening calves on cattle blood !

  damnit...I just cannot put pictures on here right argh

  had some cool ones of my then 3 year old daughter last year building snowman with 5 foot drifts of snow around here....god I miss the snow.....sigh...going to Minnesotta for a few days next week so I should be able to get a quick fix

  "Working" Interview, wish me luck!!!

  i have a "working" interview tomorrow for a really great, high-paying job!!!

  i'm so excited, just last week i was despairing that i hadn't recieved a single response to all the resumes i'd sent.

  the only problem is that i'm a smoker, and it's a smoke free workplace, so i have to hide my dirty little habit!!!

  That's a bit wierd that they told you that you would have to quit when you started there...maybe they meant you couldn't smoke on the property..but they don't have the right to tell you the quit...

  well, at least it is a good incentive to help you quit, but even as a non smoker I find that odd....what other morals do they hvae that they will impose on you?

  Anyway...good luck with the interview.

  I hear you can store 2 giraffes and a jackall in the jumbo size. open it up..and POOF!! they instantly go back to their orignal shape.

  i'm so nervous!.

  i just started grad school this year, and had a teaching assistantship this last fall.

  it paid a few thousand dollars for 20 hours work per week, but the important thing was that it came with a waiver of out-of-state tuition and part of in-state tuition.

  Good luck!

  My brother is in the same position....he was lucky and got a sweet fellowship coupled with teaching while he is in grad school that covers his tuition and gives him just barely enough to survive on if he is very very careful. Between the classes he takes, homework and teaching he does not have time for even a part time job either....

  GREAT story haahah.....oh that is a riot.

  I don't like Lieberman really, but I must say that he is a much lesser evil than Dean would be in the white house...Dean has too much of that "angry young man" thing going to gets tiresome after a while.

  He was governor of Vermont for godsakes...it is just really a suburb of New York....

  eeek...it scares me that Bush may be the lesser evil of all the choices in November....eeeeeeeekkk thats how it was the last election...I don't like Bush at all but was soooo relieved that Gore did not win.

  whenever people look at my cd collection, they'll come across blue oyster cult, black sabbath, iron maiden, led zeppelin, etc.

  but then they'll come across something unusual.. right now i'm listening to "kenny rogers - ten years of gold".

  my parents had this album, and i loved it.

  U2, Simple Minds, Tears for Fears...but I loved my mom's stuff too...the Mamas and the Pappas, Peter Paul & Merry....ooo I was one of the those wanna be dead heads in the late 80s...eek

  but I do so love the deads music...sigh.....
