  paradise-related greetings and meetup plans.

  on a couple of jw fb sites, people often say things like "i'll see you in paradise," or "i'm going to travel and meet all of you guys in paradise and hang out with your lions.

  " and on the jw news, library, etc.

  Well, my folks are gone now, and a lot the kids I grew up with folks are gone also, I have a feeling they're all looking at each other in heaven saying "what the heck are we doing here!"

  Something on the same level as saying see you in paradise is when my mom told me that the Book Study Conductor asked everyone there what kind of animal or pet they wanted in the new system . . . Oh brother . . . ! ! !

  Saturday Morning Musings ...

  one hot, hot thursday, in july of 1987, i worked a half day, drove from wilcox county to mobile county to pick up a sister, then hit i-10 for new orleans to attend the convention which began the next day.. the evening traffic was unbelievable; when i finally arrived and pulled into our hotel parking lot, i was shaking like a leaf in the wind.

  we checked in, and after showering, i fell into bed and slept like a drunk person.. the next morning, friday, was a complete blur as we made our way to the superdome.

  i don't remember anything that was discussed that day, just the searing heat as we returned to the hotel.. after a long shower, i again fell into a deep slumber.

  Some of the old timers here might remember this ASSembly but it was either 1967 or 1968 NYC was assigned to attend in Wash DC at the stadium. For all 3 or 4 days the bathrooms were out of service !!!! Good thing I was kid then, made know dif to me, but all those mothers with kids, and women on their cycle and so forth . . . but yet they all came together and said the usual "usual what a blessing from Jah we made it four days without using a toilet". . ! ! !

  I don't even think the Borg themselves would alllow such a thing these days, unless the sewer system breaks down while the convention is in progress. The bros sis. aren't as "loving" as they used to be !!

  Today my husband surprised me...

  yesterday we were getting our van repaired and while that was going on we decided to window shop at a really cool furniture consignment shop.

  i saw a baker's rack that was really nice and that i would love to have.

  hubby looked at it too and thought it was a nice piece but we had to leave the shop to pick our van.

  i found the woman of my dreams!

  last weekend i had a date.

  i immidaiately fell in love.

  we met the following day again, and arranged another date for tomorrow.. well, yesterday she sent me a text message, stating that she no longer has an interest in seeing me again, because she discovered other pics of myself on other dating web sites.
