  Sharing a bed

  this is ot (like half of the topics in 'friends'), and a bit personal, but i don't actually have that many friends that i can talk about this with, so here goes.... mr frass and i believe we're very happily married, and we're very affectionate.

  trouble is, around midnight many nights, i'm finding that i can't get comfortable and sleep.

  i need to turn around a lot, cuddle a spare pillow in *just* the right way etc.

  I have reduced my sleeping problem's by not drinking caffeine four hours before bedtime and a hot shower closer to bed time instead of after work. There were many night's I would leave the room and sleep on the living room floor just so I didn't disturb my wife. The hot shower relaxed me enough to fall asleep quickly.

  Why do people hide on this site?

  something i've noticed when reading the various threads on this site, is that so many people seem to be afraid.

  their scared of being disfellowshipped, scared of being shunned, scared of not being accepted by the congregation, scared that people may find out they don't believe anymore, scared if anyone was to find out they use this site.

  there is advice for people on how to avoid being disfellowshipped, if they may have "said too much" about their thoughts, or how to fade without being noticed.. i don't understand this.

  it occurred to me during my meanderings through london last night that invariably boyfriends describe me in the context of science fiction.

  i like geeky guys a lot so that is to be expected.

  but moving on to the dubious similarities - the first called me a a face hugger - nice, unless you have watched aliens in which case you will know what a face hugger is.

  It sounds like a compliment towards your intteligence. Unless you have pointy ear's it should be cool.

  Too many people think I look like Clint Eastwood so I'm never likened to a sci-fi character. In my last college writing class, a Boston police detective in the class said I looked like the bad guy in the latest movie, Chainsaw massacer. I didn't feel complimented. I think I would rather be likened to a sci-fi character, too many movies where the murderer or rapist is named after me. And there was one murder movie where everyone had the same birthdate in common, May tenth, my birthday.

  the tribulation is really starting to speed up it's pace.

  i just read that atleast 3 types of animal and plant life go extinct every hour.

  global warming threatens the entire planet, crimes against women and children are at a all time high, honeybees dying off for unexplained reasons, the threat of nuclear war, the ravage of infectious disease.

  I'd drop that rock a foot further to the left when I was 7, so it would splash mud on the kid below -- which was my intention -- instead of landing on his foot and hurting him so much. In fact, hopefully I'd not drop the rock in the first place. (Again, ignoring the valuable lesson I learned from this)

  Remote possibility, yes. Many people have come here because of some persecution in their homeland. Even from government persecution as in the case of many Russians. Although the JW angle may be pushing it a little too far. You may have to get a temporary visa and marry an American while your here. Shoot, I'm already married.
