I have to go with SPAZnik's answer - I was an IDIOT. Also #3 comes in second.
A worldly guy asked me and I said, maybe - some day (non-committal). He studied with a PO and got baptized. By the time I realized I really did not want to marry him it was too late and the CO's wife told me once I was engaged I couldn't change my mind! (Blondie even posted the magazine article for me that was issued a few months before the wedding saying the same thing the CO wife said.)
I felt like I was on a locomotive going downhill with no brakes. Even the attorney I was working for at the time met him one time and told me I shouldn't marry that man!

Why did you get married?
by pratt1 inas a young dub in the 80's me along with many of my friends got married, either in our teens or early 20's.. in my area, if you were over 25 and not married, it was percieved that something was wrong with you or you were probably engaging in sex with a "worldly" person.. by why did so many of us feel the need to get married so young?.
i believe it was because of one of three reasons.. 1. you wanted to get out of your parets home.. 2. you had already gone "too far" with you girlfriend or boyfriend.. 3. you were just an average normal teenager and you knew this was the only way you could legally have sex.. .
was this true in your area?.

I watched Parts I & II last night and Part III today.
Part I was most interesting and I am hoping some of the more intellectual people here will be commenting on the theories presented. I was also curious how the time frames meshed with when the Bible stories were written. I will watch it again. -

"Yeah i was four months it happened in May at the mall where my husband is a security supervisor ..."
I am sorry you had the miscarriage. Sounds like you were in good hands medically speaking when it happened. Hopefully this next one will be successful.
Was the person that raped/molested you a JWitness? -

Taking control of my life....this is what i'm gonna do.
by R.F. inas many of you may know, i'm currently an ms and pioneer, and been missing meetings consistently for almost 2 months.
i have been concerned about my dad's reaction to me wanting to leave the org and he's been questioning me about missing meetings.
well i've decided now not to jump through the elders' hoops anymore.

A question about time...
by AlphaOmega in...sort of.... there was a thread a few days ago that touched on the subject of time being relative to the observer.. i wondered, does the jwd clock that records the time that we make a post actually post the same time to everyone.. .
i know that it can't get it's time from my pc clock as i see posts at say 8:55pm yet my pc clock says 8:53pm.. so.... what time (according to you) did i make this post ?.
i make it ... 20:46. .

Arizona doesn't observe daylight savings time so we are in Pacific Time now. Your post shows 12:46 here.

I bought these CDs from freeminds.org - don't believe they are put out by the WTS. I understand the WTS Copyright has expired on these documents. There was a thread discussing copyright several months ago.
Rutherford's Rainbow (2nd Edition also includes The Revelation /1918, The Way to Paradise / 1925 and Angels and Women / 1924)
The Pastor Russell Anthology (38 items - 18,500 pages)
Zion's Watch Tower (1879-1899; 1900-1909; 1910-1919) -

Kirk Cameron should have stuck to mediocre sitcoms
by under_believer inhe's currently tamed up with this guy called ray comfort and together they run a "ministry" where they make banal observations and say that it proves god exists.

My daughter has Tivo'd some of those shows. I tried to watch one but couldn't stand it for long.
Kirk is just kind of a side kick from what I saw. He didn't really say too much. I got the feeling he was there to hopefully draw more attention to the show.
