christmas is not a pagan holiday because Jesus is not a pagan god. the other junk is just local celebrations that imprinted on the actual observance of the visit of the magi.

Yes I do. I hope for and pray that all who come here can get good advice and information. I left, it was painful for a long time. I studied a lot and settled in a Baptist Church. I like it. Some ex-JWs go into the Orthodox churches, Assemblies of God, Methodist, Presyterian but horribly some become satanists because they think that Protestants and Catholics are under the control of Satan and rationalize joining straight up.
If you want to leave the WT but are afraid somehow, loss of friends, family breakup ( it was rough for a year but my wife, son, her three daughters, grand-daughter are Baptists with me) , the Judicial Committee thing and announcements and being labeled as an enfjumt, jgikrm,n tist don't sweat it. "It is forbidden to fear anything except God, You must fear God only." - a rabbi.
PM me. I will consider originating a JW study class to help JWs learn why WT doctrine is not very well supported or thought out. Why Church history can not support "Babylonish" slanders. Where good teaching can be found and heard and how cool Christian music is. Try Toby Mac.
I am in west central florida and might be able to get a place in dunnellon for a study.

With all the means at ones disposal to contact people they choose one that is labor intensive, slow, costly, likely to result in being ignored with little more than an introduction being heard to the majority.
Contrast that with Christian Radio like Moody Radio programs, Billy Graham Crusades (who got mis-represented in too many ways) Campus Crusade for Christ (introduced more people to Jesus that the WT ever did and many of them have had a lifetime committment since then) Christian TV that gives a healthy alternative for family viewing, innumerable books by recognized Christian authors that aren't hiding behind anonimity. If you think Benny Hinn (I am not sure if he is actually Christian) is mainstream then you never watched Perry Stone, Bill Cloud, Grant Jeffrey or Andrew Womack. Some Christian writers and teachers reach the wealthiest and most difficult audiences like RaviZacharias and win people over for Christ.
We always stopped 30 minutes for donuts and coffee at 11 o'clock and called it two hours anyway then did a "return visit" on the way home to keep the clock ticking.
I am glad I am out and a Baptist. We do tuesday night visitations and the next Baptist Church over does door- to- door just like the WT says they don't.

Look up floride in public water supplies. It is a drug. Some countries ban its use as only doctors can prescibe drugs.
It is almost impossible to buy non-floride toothpaste.
The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water on Earth was found in Germany`s Nazi prison camps. The Gestapo had little concern about fluoride`s supposed effect on children`s teeth; their alleged reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to sterilize humans and force the people in their concentration camps into calm submission. (Ref. book: "The Crime and Punishment of I.G. Farben" by Joseph Borkin.)
Sodium fluoride water solutions are the cheapest and most effective rat killers known to chemists: colorless, odorless, tasteless; no antidote, no remedy, no hope: Instant and complete extermination of rats. Keeping a store of deadly fluoride near the water reservoir would be advantageous during the time of a revolution, as it would give opportunity to dump this poison into the water supply and either kill off the populace or threaten them with liquidation, so that they would surrender to obtain fresh water. It can cause fatalities in kidney dialysis patients. It can cause sterility in women. It causes fragile bones in the elderly. It agressively binds to chemicals in our bodies so that low dosage over a long time causes a strong effect.
- Sodium fluoride, a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum, is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, hypnotics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas. It`s expensive to dispose of. The public was convinced on the terrifically insane but highly profitable idea of buying it, injecting it into our water supplies, and then DRINKING it. Since we only drink 1/2 of one percent of the total water supply, the rest literally goes down the drain as a free hazardous-waste disposal for the chemical industry, where we PAY them so that we can flush their expensive hazardous waste down our toilets. How many salesmen dream of such a deal? (Follow the money.)
We are already being doped.

New Book: More Kids Become "Fake" Christians
by Justitia Themis ini really do not like this article.
she warns basically that if you do good, and don't explain to your kids that you are doing good because that's how christians are, then your kids will not make the link.
so what if they grow up to do good but don't claim to be christian?

Faith in Jesus Christ makes one a Christian. Not articulate explanations.
The authors opinion focused on people, what they did or did not do. There is only one perfect standard, Jesus Christ. HE needs to be focused on. Denegrating persons failures, in the context of investigating Christianity's effect, is an attack on Christians.
Women can't be ordained Biblically - she was as a Methodist (an outlier). She takes youths on "pilgrimages to varying religious communities", this invites the observation that she is part of the new age "all paths lead to God". I think she is an imposter. Someone with an agenda to destroy Christianity by infiltrating it. Her credentials are part of that agenda. She got into a position of leadership ecclesiastically and into a professional educational position for the purpose of destroying faith in Christ. The last sentence proposes that God doubts himself? Jesus was quoting a Psalm - to teach something.
Love, be nice, stay off drugs is good. She claims its incomplete to be good, righteous that would be, - that being radical is the missing component in Christians lives. Her list of "radical" do-good projects is artificial - her own invention.
There is an absolute goodness in being Christian. Jesus is the only way to salvation.
I not only don't agree but I oppose her.

That is an interesting post on that utility pole. But, the Rapture will likely happen on Rosh Hashanah. "At the last trumpet" means at the last trumpet on that day of Jewish (Mosaic Law based) New Year. And the last supper was on Nisan 13. HE was eating the Paschal meal. Passover had two nights then. Calendar issues with the diaspora you know. HE died as the Passover lamb on the evening of Nisan 14 as dictated in The Law.
Nope, 10/10/10 is likely an omen for another Wall Street crash or something special like that. What if a lottery came in for 101010? Would you share the winnings with 95,873 others to get $4,300 a year for the next 20 years? After spending $1,010.10 on tickets too.
Hey, lets make a doctrine on 10/10/10. Claim something was predicted then submit it to the WT claiming to be "anoentid". Like when the UN was formed Nathan Knorr predicted it in 1942 (after it actually occurred the Summer before)." See http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/UN/usun.html for that. But, who'll know years from now?
I think that ignorance has run amuck in WT land.
Whew, had to get that off my chest.

The stuff is made from cow's blood.
The Watchtower anti-blood doctrine is pumped up and full of hot air. Nothing more than another attempt at controlling you with "don't you have it so good in here with our protection and super-special secret donctrines from the 'Faithless and Diseased Slag' class"? Aren't we special? Those in Christendom are going to die at Armageddon because they won't listen to us and we are "The Truth". Yup, we are in "The Truth" but not saved - have to work for that gift - you know? We have to accept that gift by paying for it with exclusive devotion to a man-made paper person called a "Corporation". But don't worship a flag, it's made of cloth.
Many people died when the WT declared it was "cannibalism" to have an organ transplant. Now it isn't cannibalism, or is it? Did they officially rescind that doctrine? Or just drop it with silence and secret communications to elders that it was now ok and to not counsel anyone against getting a transplant - as long as the blood was washed out ....
The one you obey is your master. You are responsible for what you believe. "The head of every man is the Christ". No elders, JW appointees, WT editors, none of them - not one. Not anyone.

but 1 final thing all this happened before in isreals time and jehovah came! and cleaned house its happened before it going to happen again.
Its more likely that the LORD has cleaned house somewhere else and has quaranteened those spiritually sick in the Watchtower.
If you want to leave, then do so, but why slander those whom Jehovah has appointed to 'take the lead among us'?
It is not slander if charges of egregious behavior are true. And the WT has no more evidence of being chosen by J... than their say-so. And their say-so has been successfully disputed. Even if they had been chosen, which they weren't, they have been disqualified. All their "true doctrines" are anti-Christian and supported by made-up facts. Liars tell lies. Fools believe everything they are told.
Look up stuff. There are no demons poping out of the pages of library books like Penton's or Raymond Franz's. Do you really think that God is too weak to protect someone wanting to verify claims?

I trust in Jesus, not WatchTower ideas. All y'all have filtered your experiences through the Watchtower's ideas.
Daniel 3:16 - 18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

I don't doubt the story of a sister who was spared from a serial killer when she was seen with two large men she didn't know were there (thought to have been guardian angels). People are saved, not organizations, by the Lord. The WT is not "The Truth" and they are overwhelmingly shown to be liars and teaching false doctrines by those examining their ideas.
Stop trusting the training the WT indoctrinated you with. Who are they, really?
