Phizzy,
The latest campaings had been Place-whatever-you-can. You are suppose to pick the amount you think you gonna use for one week.
has anyone else seen the local congregation doing the usual field service push before the memorial?
i think its strange that we (nor our neighbors) havent seen them in the neighborhood yet.
only 2 weeks away and no territory blast?

i hear there will be a special local needs outline provided by the branch this week.
does anyone have details?
will this be a regional thing only?
As far as I'm concern no special direction for Local needs this week from the WT.
to jw's if you think about it, this is what "the truth" is..... .
"the truth" is that you must be in 'the truth' and spend every waking moment you have getting others in 'the truth'.
anything the governing body says to do is 'the truth'.
"Whatever the party holds to be truth, is truth."

i've been felling blah lately, it may be the weather (never ending winter).
but wathever, i've got a never ending headache and i'm into looking onto jw stuff again.
i have not posted here in a while because i did not need to, now i feel i need to again, mabe to be reassured that what i'm doing is ok, to get a little encouragement from my ex witness buddies on this site...i haven't been to a meeting since this summer and i really don't plan on going to the memoral but i think i feel guilty about it....
Hello there. Carry on! winter should be almost over!
where do they come up with this stuff?.
this is a topic on 'the other site'.
i actually called our bethel ny branch and talked to a brother on the writing committee, at writing correspondence.
16 The second group included in “this generation” are anointed contemporaries of the first group. They were not simply alive during the lifetime of those in the first group, but they were anointed with holy spirit during the time that those of the first group were still on earth. Thus, not every anointed person today is included in “this generation” of whom Jesus spoke. Today, those in this second group are themselves advancing in years. Yet, Jesus’ words at Matthew 24:34 give us confidence that at least some of “this generation will by no means pass away” before seeing the start of the great tribulation. This should add to our conviction that little time remains before the King of God’s King- dom acts to destroy the wicked and usher in a righteous new world.—2 Pet. 3:13.
Is this what the OP is referring to?

They are deeeepppp in BS. This people are crazy!
Actually, this is coming up in a study magazine in a couple of weeks.
the governing body not only lies to it's members about their true history but also about life itself, worldly people and former members.. here are some of those lies that come to my mind.. .
"jw's are the happiest people on earth" -.
fact: depression, anxiety, fear of punishment, paranoia, is what jw's live with every day.
FACT: Great post.
FACT: GB/FDS/WT are liers.
just heard this at the meeting last night - km school for elders only to be held between november 11th and january 11th.
it will be one day (8 hours) and will likely be an update on the new org.
changes being fired out, likely judicial in nature also..
It sucks. 8 waisted hours.
i don't usually do it anymore (debating with a jw) but my co-worker is a "devout" jws and she just always want to talk about the bible with me.
i try to avoid her because i just realize it is a "waste" of time trying to show the jws anything negative about the wt society.
i believe everybody has a right to belong to whichever religion or faith he or she wishes, but talking to a jws about their beliefs just goes in circles.
Do those of the “great crowd” referred to at Revelation 7:9, 10 also go to heaven?
The “great crowd in heaven” referred to at Revelation 19:1, 6 is not the same as the “great crowd” of Revelation 7:9 . The ones in heaven are not described as being “out of all nations” or as ascribing their salvation to the Lamb; they are angels. The expression “great crowd” is used in a variety of contexts in the Bible.— Mark 5:24; 6:34; 12:37 .
Perfect logic here. How about this?
The ones in heaven are not described as being “out of all nations” (also, they are not described with wings, or flying, or referred as angels) or as ascribing their salvation to the Lamb; they are angels (Why???????)
being a jw is amazing!
who agrees with me??.
the jw is a protection from the world.
