Yes, Darwin killed God. When Darwin visited the Galapagos islands, he didn't notice God and accidentally stepped on him, thus making extinct the only species known as Goddus imperceptus.

What is the Biblical Support for Observers at the Memorial ???
by RubaDub ini have never gotten a good answer for this questions from any other jw's other than "everyone was of the annointed back in the first century" or "we are showing our respect for the arrangement" or some other nondescript comment.. even the notion that we "celebrate" the memorial is not accurate since the "celebration" part is limited to 8 or 9 thousand people and the 15 million or so that attend are merely observing or watching.. is there some other biblical support for people to observe the celebration ???
in all my life as a jw, i still don't quite understand the significance of it from a biblical persective.. rub a dub .

As a child, I was small for my age, so I often sat on my Bible to better observe the untasted wine and crackers being passed around.
Does that count as biblical support?

To athiests who hate God
by EndofMysteries inquestion, if this is true, in the book of enoch chapter 10:11-12, "all the sons of men shall not perish in consequence of every secret, by which the watchers have destroyed, and which they have taught, their offspring.12all the earth has been corrupted by the effects of the teaching of azazyel.
to him therefore ascribe the whole crime.
if that is god's truth, and your only accountable for your own wickedness and actions, would you feel guilty for your accusations against god?

EOM: I'm speaking of those who say they hate God, the bloodthirsty, etc, etc, on top of not believing in him.
One of the most stupid statements I've ever read -- ANYWHERE.

As A JW Who Would You Rather Imitate---Jehovah or Jesus?
by minimus inwitnesses say jesus christ, the son of god, followed his father's example perfectly.
we also must imitate christ as he did his father.
but in reality, do jehovah's witnesses really want to imitate their god, jehovah??.

That's like asking, "As a serial murderer, who would you rather imitate -- Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy?"
This is not one of your better questions, minimus.

Donating money (even just $5) is as easy as dialing your phone nowadays.
Every month, donate whatever cash you can spare to the cause of your choice.
I donate to parrot rescue shelters. Parrots are extremely intelligent animals that need highly specialized care to remain healthy and happy in captivity. Many parrot owners find they don't have the time, skill, or commitment to do this and have to give up their parrots. The shelters care for the parrots and rehabilitate them if they've developed biting, feather-picking, or screaming problems. Just Google "parrot rescue" and your state, and you'll come up with dozens of sites.
Just a suggestion.

Mythbuster: This book doesn't work. I've tried the "praying" method to get a new Porsche 996 delivered but to no avail.
Myth busted!

A starlit night
by John Doe inimmersed in fireflies and enchanting lakeside glows, is worth a monstrous toil through grayed out city lights and cigarette butts scattered round listless strangers scurrying to and fro.

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore.
As I stand in the street or on the pavement grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core."

I don't use this quote, but it seems to fit well here:
"Yes, Bible sales. The trade is not complicated. There are two things to learn ... One, find a wholesaler, the word of God in bulk, as it were.
Two, recognise your customer. Who are you dealing with? It's an exercise in psychology, so to speak."
