I think this poster has to be an ex - I can't imagine an active JW writing something like this. Way too intelligent and grounded.

Dateline Comments by JW's
by Jang infor those who may feel discourage by comments by jws about the program ... don't despair ..... think back!.
how did you respond publicly when you saw negative information when you were in the borg?
how did you respond privately to yourself when you saw it .

Yes, we were all under the spell of the WT propaganda machine at one time. Dubs are brainwashed to believe that only persons with bad motives criticize the org.

Why WTS Leaders Should Be Disfellowshipped
by metatron inthe "pay attention" elders manual gives us clear advice.
on judging repentance in cases of serious sin.. first, as to the nature of the sin, watchtower leaders.
are guilty of loose conduct - defined as "wanton.

Hilarious. What's the business about the blue envelope? (Understand that even though I was in for 10 years, I was always kind of out-of-the-loop - just a brainless meeting attender)

Some may say that keeping grandparents from their grandchildren is to harsh
This is exactly what JW's whose parents leave do.
In my last congregation there was a very pious (yet alchoholic and abusive) bro who kept his kids from his wife's father, who hadn't been an active JW for years and was known to disagree with the WT way, but nonetheless was a very nice man. I shudder to think that at one time I agreed with such extreme practices...

Left the WTS as an atheist
by Elsewhere ini have realized that there are some misunderstandings regarding the circumstances of my leaving the wts.. i'll give a brief review... i was raised as a third generation jw and submerged underwater in a ritual called baptism in 1991. all of my family, and almost all of my extended family are in the wts.
my mother claims to be of the anointed, my grandfather clamed to be of the anointed, my dad is an elder, and my other granddad is an elder who has spent considerable time as po.
my family was the model jw family.

in my book handing out literature does not count as “love and concern”
Amen brother, if you'll allow the religious language ;)
I couldn't understand how distributing their corny, vacuous, esoteric magazines was supposed to be the highest form of love. Now they try and get that sick "Require" brochure in everybody's hands.
I don't know what to think about God these days. Atheism requires absolute belief in evolution, which I've never been able to swallow.

An embarrassment to African-Americans, I'd say. He's a backwards, old white geezer on the inside, like the rest of 'em.

praise the lord, the truth's coming out!

Great work Dateline. Very fair, unsensationalized, truthful. Loved it.
Bill, prepare to get disfellowshipped. I'm fairly sure his congo elders put the judicial committee on hold on direct orders from Brooklyn. They wanted the show to air before they axed him.

18 minutes on using the require brochure to start studies. Sounds like a great time to me. Funny how they seem to want people to know less and less before they get them to take the plunge.
As usual, they have to use their N-word in regard to the internet. God my mind was so numb when I was in, I never realized how completely propagandistic they are. I wish they could use objective language just one time. The KM would have to say something along the following lines -
"There are many internet websites in existence that JW's who do not wish to have their faith challenged should avoid. They are often produced by former members of the Watchtower organization. They are as follows: (insert list)
Their tactics remind me of something I read in one of Orwell's political commentaries -
Political or military commentators The Watchtower , like astrologers, can survive almost any mistake, because their more devoted followers the brain dead dubs do not look to them for an appraisal of the facts but for the stimulation of nationalistic loyalties Opposers are never of good motive and only want to pull you away from God's organization .
