Why WTS Leaders Should Be Disfellowshipped

The "Pay Attention" Elders Manual gives us clear advice
on judging repentance in cases of serious sin.

First, as to the nature of the sin, Watchtower leaders
are guilty of loose conduct - defined as "wanton
behavior" causing public condemnation and scandal.
Thus, the coverup of child molestation easily qualifies
as conduct which would provoke moral outrage even
among a non-Christian world, in accord with the
meaning of the Greek word "aselgeia".

Second, they have fallen into a practice of lying
which brings condemnation from God (Rev. 21:8).
This would include repeated false prophecy (as with
the generation of 1914 and never growing old) as well
as persistent false statements exposed by the
Dateline program. (we had no idea they would be on
the program/we didn't prevent people from going to
    the authorities).

Has the accused attempted to minimize or conceal
their sin? Have they used deception to try to escape
judicial action? Is their repentance genuine or are
they just sorry for getting caught - as with the
    remarks of Cain?

Sadly, Brothers, a clear pattern has emerged. Not only
were they forced into making changes but they actually
sought to silence those who exposed them thru wrongful
disfellowshipping (3 John 10). They have freely lied
to cover up their transgression - and continue to
    practice deception at present.

I'm sorry but I can't see any evidence of genuine
    repentance in this judicial hearing.

To keep God's organization clean, the Governing Body
    will have to be disfellowshipped.

Hand me a blue envelope, Brother...

I'm willing to take a flight of fancy if you are!

Is such a thing even possible?
These guys are autocrats who claim to derive their power from the jehovah sock-puppet they control.

If they were to be ousted, how would it be done?

It seems to me that the only real course of action is for honest people of every stripe (JW reformist, born-again, pagan , atheist, etc) to simply leave. Some time ago the WTS "brain drain" problem was discussed. Once the intellectual infrastructure is gone, all that will be left is ineffectual toadies and psychotic fools.

Already we've heard that the WTS is gearing up for a new campaign against the perceived weakness within their ranks. They're just gonna piss off more decent people. I'm getting my popcorn ready to watch the spectacle.

There was a Japanese movie I saw once, I can't think of the title, about a Japanese warlord who for years created mayhem and tryanny throughout his land.

He thought it came time for him to retire. So he divided the kingdom between his three sons, warlords wannabes.

Instead of a quiet peaceful retirement, all hell broke loose. Fire. sword, blood and guts everywhere. I believe the old warlord lost his eyes in a fire, and was banished out in the boondocks, cared for by his faithful and sometimes not so faithful court jester.

The moral of the story, was no rest for the wicked, one's past catches up with tyrants.

So leave the WT leaders destroy themselves, so far they are doing a pretty good job.

Hilarious. What's the business about the blue envelope? (Understand that even though I was in for 10 years, I was always kind of out-of-the-loop - just a brainless meeting attender)
