Before last year, I was super serious, I didn't like laughing and now I've completely turned around. I'm a super chill person now, lol... always happy to have a good laugh and hang out with fun people.

Although I am still "IN," mentally I am letting go. I know it will take a while before I am completely happy, although I'm not sure if there is such a thing as complete happiness, but I know that me finding myself and what I want to do will hopefully help me find that happiness that we all look for.

When I was in 5th grade and I was getting ready to partake in the eating of birthday cake - my mom came into the room (she worked at the school I went to) and she said, "S******, now would Jehovah approve of you taking the cake?" And I said, "I'm sure Jehovah would be ok with it, he doesn't want me to starve." She grabbed my ear and directed me to the computer lab. Besides me sitting in my mom's bible studies, this is the only other thing I remember, lol.

Letting go...a letter to my brother

as i posted sometime back, i have been grappling with my last fear from the wtbts--that is, saying good-bye to my mother and brother who are still in the organization by revealing that not only have i left but am now what they consider an apostate.
it has come to me, that i must do this to be finally free of the last vestiges of "hold" that the organization still has on me.

DATING 101: Dating Interacially and my opposite: Will it Work Out?

but he is white...and 32...and plays the african drums..and teaches some weird dance in a school for kids having to do with cuban tribal dances..or something or other.

stillA - To be honest, I've never dated a black guy and I'm mixed. I've never kissed a black guy or anything. It just always happened that way. So all of my relationships have been with white men and I was engaged to a white man and things were great. I think its more about the connection you have or where you're from. I think where I'm from its not frowned upon to date someone of another color. If you like him and he likes you, then I don't think that should matter :).

by Scully inok, so i'm at the dentist this afternoon - nothing major, just something i've been putting off for a while - and the dental assistant is doing her thing with my teeth - my mouth is wired open (i think i was able to tune into radio transmissions for a while) - and i've got my eyes closed, my glasses off, trying to relax in the chair, while listening to the piped in muzak.. suddenly, i can tell she's really getting into her work - she's leaning against my face and getting quite vigorous about whatever she's doing to my tooth.
then it dawned on me.... ummm... hello.... your breast is in my eye!!!
except my mouth is frozen and wired so that all that's coming out is unintelligible garble... and drool (from being wired open, not because it's the least bit "interesting").. so i'm thinking to myself, if i push her away from my face, she looks the type that would clock me for sexually harassing her... if i say anything to her about it, she'll be embarrassed and might screw up my tooth... if i wait a couple more minutes, she'll be done and i might have an interesting story to share with mr scully... finally, it occurs to me that they said i could give them a signal to stop what they are doing.

I am biased to hon. A lot of people on my, "Please Give Constructive Criticism" post said no that they don't think that they could work. But I think deep down that if you two feel that it could work then it will. You will just have to remember to have the patience and trust (those are the two most important things they need). Without those then it won't work.
When my ex-fiance and I did, we worked better long-distance than when we lived together. So yes I think it can work. Am I thinking of the right person? Well PM or I'll talk to you on thomschat :). Have a great day!

by BlessedStar init seems as though many people come to this board and leave in a short space of time.. it's a pity.. there are people on this board who are very nice and polite even when discussing various views.
this leads to understanding and concern.
i would like to meet you people.. please post in here.. i term nice as being kind, not cursing, love for god almighty, thrives on the right things in life, not hurting other's feelings, etc.. blessed star
