  most effectively simply by really, really seeing her, by noticing the very small things about her along with the big things, and loving them.

  To be seen...truly seen; the good-the bad, the beautiful-the hideous and loved not in spite of but because of the whole that is me is the highest respect any human has ever paid me.

  How do I show my love? I don't think he wants for affection; touches and hugs for no reason at all. Holding his head in my lap gently after a stressful day.

  listening to him as he pontificates on life, spirituality or just the mundane and being truly fascinated by all of it.

  Letting him know that all that I have is his.

  Buying him beer when I come over LOL!

  For anything written in hebrew (Torah/or OT), I'm gonna go with the source, so give me the TANAKH any ole day. For the aramaic/greek NT, I suppose the NWT is my bible of choice. Though I like the King James for the Psalmist's poetry. Yes, along with Bucklands Big Book of Witchcraft, Crowley's Book of Lies, and the Mystical Kaballah, I do read the bible. I have quite the interesting library. It almost rivals Daystar's for diversity and overall weirdness.

  The series "Lost"

  i don't get to watch this series on it's scheduled night, but i do keep up by watching it on the internet.

  this year a lot has been revealed, but like always, a lot has not.

  basically it seems the island has some special powers, a box that gives you what ever you want, and people see this ben guy as a leader.

  Well, I love love love Lost but last night's episode blew.

  The dialogue was horrid and stretched at best. The characters did not even seem recognizable from the dialogue. It was stilted, out of character and they tried to pump too much information into the dialogue. The featured characters were hard to give a crap about and it answered nothing.

  I followed Abram's Alias for a long time and love his overall premise--he makes you question who/what is "good" who or what is "evil" adn what about all those shades of grey between?

  But I've got to have good writing.

  Black Swan, you really said it all, hon. I'm sure that you're successful by your definition.

  My definition of success has evolved with time and I'm sure it has not seen its final definition in my schema. I used to think it meant being happy--as happy as possible all the time. I still attach great value on contentment and happiness but it's not the end all and be all for me anymore. It's a by-product and I am happy most of the time. However, out of pain, comes great growth, which is where I'm at right now on success, growing and learning as much as one can.

  I'm not finished by a long shot on success but that is the human experience, once one goal is achieved, one must have another.....growth...death....decay...rebirth

  well, i've been posting here since many years, and i'm sure that there are some that i met here, that i'll still talk to 10 or 20 years from now.

  i'm sure that others also made life long friends on this board.

  And I met the absolute love of my life who I see myself with forever.

  This is yet more crap that the WTBTS spouted (about not knowing the lineages anymore).

  Trust me, the Jews keep track of lineages and they know very well which tribes they belong to. Unless you one of the 10 losts, of that particular generation...you know who you are and who your father is and who his father was and so on...teh same even moreso for matrilineal lineages.

  So no problem on finding Levites and Kohanim (the very highest of the priests)

  And in the words of Forrest Gump: That's all I have to say about that.
