  Simon, you hit it dead on, I agree. When I found out about the U.N. thing etc after fading that to me didn't really make a difference. It's the deeper cultish high control stuff that got me. Like this video, total crap

  What backlash could you expect by telling everyone you 'hate the Caleb cartoons'?

  what kind of response could you expect if you let everyone in your congregation know that.

  "... i hate those stupid caleb cartoons.

  i hate his crazy mother.

  Also of note, is some people may deep down in their primal core of their brain find something wrong with it, a "gut feeling".

  When you say something you stir that up and they are trying to keep it down and this enrages them. Because even if in their gut they think its stupid they are all walking around saying love great it is, how loving of the gb, how cute how blah blah blah blah to drown out doubt.

  march kingdom ministry insert is about how the field service meetings will be shortened from 10 to 15 minutes down to 5 to 7 minutes.

  they want the publishers to report more hours.

  in my experience the problem isn't the length of the meeting for service but pioneers and publishers dogging it after the service arrangement.

  This information probably bums the elders out most, as they generally want to be out less than anyone else. I could count on one hand the elders that actually enjoyed it over my 30+ years and congregations cost to cost.

  I've gotten severe backlash for speaking out. The thing that makes me laugh is the adults love this BS cartoon as much or MORE than the damn kids!! Seriously, it's like their new bible, pretty soon instead of quoting scriptures at the door they will be quoting caleb and sophia cartoons.

  (mathew 19:16-22) this does not match the majesty of jesus.

  what he said in mathew 16:21: if you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven contradicts what he said earlier in mathew 5:44-48 where he says if you want to be perfect, be like your heavenly father who loves both the saints and the sinners alikewhich obviously require that you need some material possessions with you.
