what he said in mathew 16:21: if you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven contradicts what he said earlier in mathew 5:44-48 where he says if you want to be perfect, be like your heavenly father who loves both the saints and the sinners alikewhich obviously require that you need some material possessions with you.

JEHOVAH A Partial / Selective GOD

jehovah only dealt with a patriarchal family after adam sinned .he then only turned his attention to the 12 tribes of what was to become the nation of israel .. apparently he did not give two hoots about the rest of mankind outside of this small group of people compared to the rest of humanity.. 4000 years later he declares his love for the world and had his son sacrificed , setting up a system ( christianity ) starting off with jews and then allowing gentiles to enter., again neglecting the rest of humanity / nations on the earth , leaving them to their own desires.. during the first 4000 years he spent a helluva lot of time and energy trying to convince the jews he was almighty god .. performing miracles ,raising the dead ,slaughtering opponents with angelic intervention ,committing genocide on israels behalf ,etc.etc.

you know the drill.. no such effort was made trying to convince other nations or blessing them for their achievements advancing civilization , they were left to their own device , no direction ,no help , or instruction was given to them whatsoever .

and nothing has changed this past 2000 years , it started out as a small group who by "divine providence" were to be called " christian" according to the bible , and again he is only acting on behalf of this group , neglecting all other nations who now cover most of this earth.. so my question is : if jehovah really did love the "world" humanity , why did he not act in behalf of all humanity instead of singling out a minority group of people 6000 years ago and continuing on with that policy till today ?.

Standardized or United in Love ?

one of the main trigger points who brought me to decide to officially separate myself from the jw org.by very recenly sending my letter of dissociation was reached when i became fully aware that the jw.org is standardizing their flock with their repeated manipulations and new lights instead of uniting them with love.

and once fully standardized according to the jw.org standards it is very difficult for a jw to have normal and human contact with "worldly" not standardized people.. thanks for reading and take care..

I believe this means they protect their own Web of indoctrination. Witnesses cult uses loaded words that have their own meaning within such as "the truth" "pioneer" "apostate". I think they misuse the word spirituality. For instance they might consider someone who sits by the trolly all day a spiritual person. What does that have to do with the true meaning of that word not the witness meaning?

Spiritual protection means obey over think. Belief over action. Sadly if this news article came on and people in my family were watching they probably change the channel out of a super stitious fear Satan was going to get them. Clearly to them she is just a mad apostate. Their spiritual cult protection makes them already judge this whole thing in their mind without knowing a single fact. Fact one: someone is criticizing the org. No other facts needed. Case closed.

So sad. This is why witnesses no nothing of the failings of the the WTBS or when they are watching a science show and someone says "evolution" instead of listen to evidence they immediately beginning saying how dumb these scientists are and Satan runs everything.

Spiritual protection is mental slavery. And when you make sheep thats just what you get. Incapable of self protection, that's independent thinking and clearly satanic

Not to be a downer, I actually do see this as victory. Now at doors or trolleys more and more people are gonna be asking the naive witnesses about these cases. And when they give some insane canned answer people are gonna smack their heads. The first time someone says what about the lawsuits and some glassy eyed sheltered witness reads a scripture about Jesus followers being persecuted, people's jaws will hit the floor. So this may have a good front line effect if not from us from other non witnesses.

Whose God are you worshipping??

in the early writings of the bible its mentioned that the israelites worshiped false gods, gods of the stars and other celestial bodies.

ezekiel even bloviates against this in his writings and king josiah is said to have abolish these practices.

jeremiah mentions that god would even destroy the city were sun worship was being practiced a place called bethshemesh in egypt.

me too. If you read the OT the majority of the time they were involved in pagan worship. Just because some people condemned it who cares. Egyptians invented monotheism first. Hebrews took ideas from everyone. Including them.

Also the bible says they fought with the Canaanites, history says they were canaanites

Things that would sustain life of course, but also things that would convey the most knowledge and information/technology from mankind without having to rely in electricity or a specific piece of technology to access it.

Jw are moving from Door to Door realizing it is ineffective

jw have announced that they will no longer be doing door to door as they have realized that the door to door salesman is on a decline.. now they will be putting all of their effort into cold calling via a telephone as they feel this will be more effective means to reach people.

jw call centers will be set up at local kingdom halls so that all jw will now reach out to people via a hard copy of the yellow pages and white pages.

they have seen the success of telemarketers and can't wait to try out this new and revolutionary way to reach people via a telephone.

I see posts on social media of all my jw friends in past places sitting on their @$$es doing nothing at these carts but clearly banking some serious hours! But I also know that people like us now can approach them and drop knowledge that will turn on their Cognitive dissonance so fast, their heads will be spining.

Jehovahs Witness Shunning & the Crusades

while discussing being mistreated by my own jw family last night with my wife, i wanted to try to make her think critically about what shunning really is, and at its root what how beneficial it is.

earlier in the day i sent her non-apostate scholarly article on religious shunning being tantamount to psychological torture.

and most witnesses don't think into much about why they do things, its more of a "this is the way we do it, don't over think it" process.

I feel like if my family members speak to me again I am going to ask them, what do you think about putting someone on the rack in order to cause physical torment to get them "accept christ"?

I am sure most modern religious people (outside of ISIS) would consider this practice to be pointless and barbaric. If they agree it makes no sense, I would then like to ask them what is the difference in psychologically tormenting a loved one in order to make them "accept christ" or "accept the GB".

What is the difference? One is physical, one is psychological and emotional, but the mechanism and practice is just the same.

I'm sorry man, I know your pain in my own way with my current struggle. The only good thing that has come of mine is the wife sees from an all new perspective how barbaric this is.
