Which 3 would you choose?
by Clam inif you could be a fly on the wall at any event in history, which three events would you choose?
it could be anything, eg birth of jesus, seeing the beatles live, listening to a c.t.russell speech, battle of the little big horn, etc.
you don't even have to be a fly; you could participate if you liked .

I can remember going to Manhattan during the mid 80's on business trips and seeing the Watchtower buildings accross the east river by the Manhattan bridge. Used to bring a smile to my face to see the slogan:
- Read Gods word the bible daily.
- Years later is see the Hypocrisy. If I remember correctly, it was the WTS that told Randy Watters and those bethel boys NOT to have BIBLE study after the Monday group Watchtower study.

I am 'no longer 1of JW's', and damn it feels good. Plus my letter to bethel
by jwfacts infor anyone facing my situation i recommend not being scared.
it is not money i am after, what it would be good to achieve is make the wts so scared of publically announcing anyone that they end up changing their d/f policy.. this is what happened.
for anyone facing my situation i recommend not being scared.

Ok I Have A Question For All Of You!
by Legolas in.
when you were a dud (i call it 'dud' not dub..lol), ok how can i put this.....were you 'always on'?
meaning did you always have something to give to people or witness to them at 'every' opportunity or did you look at it as a 'job' where you only gave things out in service?

Previously, I seldom spoke about my beliefs outside of field service. However, since I've been "flirting" with apostates for the last 18 months, I speak about God and the Bible more than ever.
I feel the same way. I say more about the Dub's now than ever. Hey is there anything like an Apostate pioneer??? I only need 20 more hours to get my monthly quota. Damn, that ole witness drumming is still there! Sorry

Where is the focus?
by Lady Lee ini just posted this on another thread and think there might be an interesting topic here.. it seems they are more active in tossing out the ones they have than in caring for the ones they want to keep.no new doctrine - just rehash of rehashconstant proddings to do more but no real shepherding of the flocksearching out weak ones and demanding to know if they are still believerssearching out those who are walk-aways or faders to find out if they still want to be ided as jwsgreater focus on $$$$give$$$$.
got other examples?
if you still go to meetings, where is the focus?.

- constant proddings to do more but no real shepherding of the flock
Its been a year and a half and still NO shepherding call. Not even a phone call. What ever happened to leaving the 99 and finding that lost sheep? Like any other business, its all about the $$$$$

Warning to all Las Vegas JW women - Stay away from this guy. He is an abuser, is lousy in bed and has a very small penis. His ex once complained that it was ridiculous that they were only having sex once every 2 weeks, his response was "I'm not a machine". They were newlyweds! He also can't keep a job and will expect you to bring home the bacon. If you see him, run away. You have been warned.
Dammmm, I glad this ain't me. As far as those two pencil neck geeks, if they ever tried that shite coming into my house they'd be fu--kin dead. Does a statement like that constitute a bad attitude?? Ohh Well.

.....My late father was right !!
by thewatchman inhe never really believed or took to heart the jw religion which i refuse to call the truth.. the years before we as a family were 'contacted' we were a normal working class family with a lot of love for each other......we were happy.
i have few memories of those happy times, i was 7 when my mother decided to take on the religion.
that in time would include all of us........2 sisters and a brother.

My father died in 1997 of a heart attack, and 9 years later I am beginning to understand what he went through, ....... I failed him as his son, it was not me alone, it was what the WTS had programmed me to think. I am sad I failed a loving father with whom I wish I could reconcile my differences, but thanks to the WTS, I may never get the chance to say...'Dad, you were right...I'm Sorry!!'
Watchman Welcome, I was 13 when my Dad passed. I share your pain. Maybe someday you will get that chance. I look forward to being with my Dad again someday ( Wherever that might be ). Keep your chin up.
