  i came home to find two sisters standing in my driveway.

  they looked at the signs on my car (i do house watching for snow birds here in fl) and wanted to know how to get into the business.

  and after i explained all that i said "its a really good business if you are pioneering.

  The new breed of JWs are very weak. In the next 20 years this org is going to crack.

  I agree Drew. I cant see this Org going another 50 yrs. I hope I live long enough to see it.

  okay, i have been harping on this issue for some time.

  i think i have this thing refined enough that i can communicate it succinctly.

  Just a side point on baptism. The WTS has written in many a WT and publication that Jesus is the "Model" to follow. So my question would be, Why do they allow children to get baptised? Most kids at a tender age of 6,8 or even 10 yrs old have NO idea of what they are getting into. Why in most states you cannot make any major decisions for yourself, you need parental permission. Is not marriage a major decision? Getting a drivers license? or buying liquor? Now if any youngster who ever walked the face of this planet was ever " ready " for baptism it was Jesus. How many 6,7 or 12 yr olds do you know of that can talk to Rabbi's or Priests as Jesus did at that tender age. Yet how old was he when he got baptised??? I do not recall in the scriptures any children getting baptised. I could be wrong though.

  i pulled a few muscles in my back last week and couldn't make it to church on sunday.

  a deacon friend called and offered to usher and pass the (gasp) offering plate for me.

  another friend called and prayed with me.

  Honesty, now you know what true UNconditional love is. No strings attached. I have taken a break from religion for right now. However I did attend a Baptist service with a friend from work. It was very refreshing. They even sang a song with the name of Jehovah in it.

  Giving Blood?

  what is your opinion on it now that your out of the wts?

  ( or slowly kicking the habit... my sons school is having a "roll up your sleeve day" and give blood.....both boys and myself are going to donate tomorrow....they are both trying to reach a goal for the most donated blood in our county...i also am going to donate my time for the day and help hand out cookies and orange juice...... i feel good!!!!

  Good for you and your sons. Bravo. You know its a shame that witnesses will gladly accept blood fractions which come from DONATED blood, but won't donate blood themselves. How hypocritical.

  the use of 1914 as the start of the last generation and jesus 2nd presence prophecy has been the biggest lie ever told by the watchtower society.

  they have perpetrated these false prophecies with malice of forethought, with the deliberate intent of misleading people.

  if anyone has doubts, or wonders if maybe, just maybe the society might have been right about the last generation prophecy, one only has to read the newspapers everyday to see continuing evdience of the lie:.

  This was of course another part of the lie. Playing Monday morning quarterback now the correct phrase back then should have read something more like this:

  "Millions now living will die and continue to die"

  i know of very few that would "dare" tell off a co but elders were different.

  having been an elder for many years, it was very easy to go back and forth with a fellow elder and basically tell him he was dumb.

  Minimus, A month and a half later they made the classic announcement at the meeting that "I was no longer a Jehovah's witness". I initially thought that they DF'd me. I came to find out later that they took my attitude on that occasion as proof that I wanted to DA myself.

  So I guess I'm DA'd. Same difference really.

  I was at the gas station filling up my pickup when two elders approached me. One of them was Sal, the one I hung the phone up on about 8 months ago when he told me it is OK for witnesses to lie as long as its not malicious. So they wanted to know if they could meet with me. I said:" what for?". Oh we just want to talk with you. I said there's nothing to talk about. Sal had this smirk on his face, and I saw RED!. I looked him right in the eye and called him a F&*KIN' SCUM BAG. I asked him why he never showed up after he told me he would bring the Circuit Overseer over to look at the info I had about Mexico. NO COMMENT. So I told them both, now you wanna talk to me. Too F&*kin' late I said. Where were you when I stopped going to meetings. No one called or visited. They asked if I have been visiting apostate web sites? I said, what do you consider an apostate web site? They said," someone who leaves Jehovah". I said I have left an organization. I told them in no uncertain terms that I want nothing to do with the WTS anymore. So I guess I sealed my own fate. As Sal drove off he said to me, "We'll be talking to you". I told him to go F&ck himself.

  A month and a half later I was DA'd. I've been free ever since.

  according to scripture, blood is sacred. Therefore, they cannot donate blood or receive blood transfusions. If someone knows they'll be having a surgery, they can discuss alternatives to transfusions with their doctor. They also cannot give their own blood to be used during a future operation they plan to have done. They are willing to sacrifice their lives to follow the laws written in the Bible,

  This is so much bullshit.

  First of all, they say they cannot donate blood. WHY? Because it should be poured out on the ground once leaving the body. OK if that is the case then my question is WHY is it OK for them to accept blood fractions which is made from BLOOD that someone else donated. Shouldn't that blood have been poured out on the ground when it was donated? So they can accept blood fractions from someones else's blood but cannot donate their own blood to help someone else in need.

  As far as not storing up their own blood for future operations, the same principle applies as stated above. ALL blood according to the WTS should be poured out on the ground, therefore they should not accept anything that came from blood in the first place. But as you can see. its alright for some "worldly person" to donate blood which can be broken down into fractions to save their sorry asses in an emergency, but not alright for they themselves to donate their blood to help their fellowman.

  Pure and simple, HYPOCRITES
