  so my mom sends me this to me and i hate these jw forward things- .

  i want to have a good response when she asks if i got it- because i feel like it has nothing to do with jw's, just a coincidence.

  i feel like she thinks i hate god, but it has nothing to do with him- it's the religion itself.

  The Calendars

  the watchtower society is taking requests for calendars once again, for a "voluntary" donation to the worldwide pedophile protection society.

  but, what's su special about these calendars?

  after all, i went to a supermarket and bought a real one for about $10 (and that was full price, including real art work).. those theocraptic calendars are quite small.

  that's the most peaceful part of my day.

  My favorite time is between 5 and 8 am. so peaceful and my mind is much more alert before all the things one goes through in a day.

  hey everyone... i'm so happy that a forum like this exists.

  it makes me feel like i'm not the only one.

  even my mother, who has been disfellowshipped for nearly 20 years still calls sites and literature like this "apostate".

  about two years ago i posted here some pictures of a kingdom hall for sale.

  that was quite something to me; had never seen something like it; never thought i would.

  always thought that a progressive, ever increasing true religion would be always building and expanding, not selling.. but what wasn't my surprise when i passed by the other day and the damn hall had been sold; worse, the old, glorious hall had become a, gasp... a church!!.

  I have seen it both ways..in Niagara Falls the Kingdom Hall is a former church and in Shawville Quebec the former Kingdom Hall is now a church... how do they get the demons out of a former church?

  i would like to extend a big thankyou to those posting on the forum who are in fact helping to educate us all with explanations of the scriptures that we may not have previously considered.

  channel c is also good for this.. a christians life should be one of continual searching, testing, confirming as this leads to a deeper and firmer faith which can challenge firmly entrenched viewpoints.when i first started to study in 1966 i almost emptied my local library and spent ages in the british museum confirming my new found beliefs, this approach may well be frowned on now.

  has anyone done independant research on revelation and thrown in a few maverick comments at the group study, i found out some interesting info regarding the congregations and cities jesus addressed and included them in my answers.
