Happy Valentine's Day!!

well, it's just about 12:30am here in newfoundland right now, so north america is just reaching valentine's day.. to all of my fellow jwd-ers out there in north america who are just starting valentine's day, and to all of the jwd-ers in other parts of the world who are probably all done with it by now.... happy valentine's day!!.
whether you're sharing it with friends or family or a special someone, i hope everyone has a great day!!.

by carla incould we get a list going of kh's sold to churches or religious affiliated?
the thread (which i can't find at the moment) about painters not taking jobs painting churches got me thinking of this.

A kingdom hall in Niagara Falls was sold to a Catholic denomination, and also JW's bought a church and converted it into a kingdom hall.

Guys and flowers, whadda ya think??
by Super_Becka inalright, i'm looking for some opinions from the male portion of our jwd audience.. i'm in a long-distance relationship, like i've said here a million times before, so doing special things for my guy is kinda hard.
not only is it long-distance, it's international, too.
we're 3500 miles apart and i'm a starving student, so i can't just swing by for a visit to do something special for him on the fly.. last semester, i sent him a bunch of flowers in his favourite colour, a special "i miss you" bouquet from a local florist that i found online.

WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ANY WAY
by PMJ inthe general feeling on this website is that all religions have gods people in them.so why does it matter to you all.that you believe you were lied too?you show me a religion that is with out fault?show me a religion that has the total truth from the bible?
with out doubt despite what people say the jehovahs wittnesses.have the closest to the truth

PMJ. I do know my heavenly Father, probably better than you do, Did Jesus tell us to call him Jehovah or did some man tell us that. Jesus taught us our to pray Father, why cant you understand something so simple.

Would You Like Some Bible Based Literature?

she was parked right next to me and she rolled down her window and had the awake and watchtower in her hands.
i said i use to be one of jehovahs witnesses but because of the pedophile problems as well as the societies involvement in the un, i left.

They do not. I posted this before but I think it is worth mentioning again. Like some one here said they say very little about the deceased, then go on to witness. I was DF.d when my JW father died after saying a few b.s. words about him the C.O. speaking, spent the whole time directing his talk at me, you know the prodigal son and all that it was a terrible experience. It caused more bad feelings to non members than ever to give a witness. He was evil.

What's the longest you ever kept a pet?
by JH inmy cat is going on 13 in april.
i guess that inside cats can live up to 17 or 18.. i never had a same pet for that long.
i keep them t'il they die.

LADDIE A dog we had for 18 yrs, The only dog we had while growing up. No one could touch us or he would jump them and make them back off. Great watch dog.

My 70th Birthday Tomorrow
by Undecided ini just discovered that my daughter is having a birthday party for me at her new house tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
it is supposed to be a secret but i found out from an e-mail.
it should be fun.

by jambon1 inif you had to write down just a few sentances about why you left the truth, what would you say?.......

wholeheartedly embraced it for a few years after love bombing etc then saw widespread hypocrisy.
