Tree of Life---Ruby slippers?

what was the tree of life doing in the garden?.

i have only one thought that works for me on this.. has anybody else ever wondered?

Here is my thought when I posted this. Dorothy wanted a
better life than what she had. She went on a wild and
wonderful journey to find it. Yet at anytime she could have
returned home just by clicking her heels 3-times.When
she finally learned that there was no place like home. An angel told her what to do-she believed did what she could have always done and went back to where she came.
When Adam and Eve would have realized they were
really spiritual beings instead of physical ones an angel
would have taken them to the tree and said 'eat' something
they could have done all along. Being then taken back
home to be trully in Gods image.

The Almighty knew it would take humans sometime to get
this so humanity would prosper and grow. Each individual
taking what time was needed to learn of there better calling.
The people that partook of the tree were just too be taking
away like Enoch."and he was not" no big deal.

Terraly-great comment on James. I always ask do you
know in this great book about works that James wrote
he never ever mentions peaching at all. He even
discourages many from becoming teachers-cha-3 ver-1

it's 4 a.m. here on the left coast, and while i have always been an early riser, this is ridiculous; but i just have to get some things off my chest.

last edition? I sure hope so that means there almost
done.ISP I think this article will make that publication

In the model prayer, why wasn't God name used ?

when jesus taught his followers how to pray why wasnt the name of god used in the model prayer.

our father in the heavens, let your name be sancitied.

with so many people and religions in the world how many would have known the name of god if it were used in that popular prayer.

This has always bothered me about the witnesses.
The witnesses say James, James, James and yet do
not take to heart what he wrote. Nothing at all about
preaching; everything is about love and helping those
who can't help themselves. The cry from the other sheep
is what do you want us to do? Only god can solve these
problems, what a cop out-of course they are just following
the example of there sheperd the GB. I'm sure the man
who can't feed his family really needs that watchtower
in his hand instead of a box of macaroni. In reality that
box of food is know more expensive than the magazine
he's never gonna read. Sorry no macaroni colume on
field service report. Everything about this organization
disgusts me. There is no humanity in it and there hasn't
been since Russell died. So thanks for the post I to believe
that someone who's born-again will go much further out
of there way to help"one of the least of these my brothers "
than a witness anyday anytime and that is said is it not.

Is the Organization really free from racism?

one of the claims witnesses like to make is that they are color-blind, that their religion transcends matters of race and culture.

by and large, i think most "apostates" accept this, though it's all too obvious that witnesses are bigots when it comes to all non-members.. but how true is the claim that witnesses escape racial stereotyping?.

i attended an inner-city congregation with mostly black brothers and sisters.

preaching it for twenty years prior to his death. Yes
direct pipeline no Newsweek-Time-NY Times-I guess
the brothers didn't realize that this pipeline gets stopped
up all the time.

ALCOHOLICS

does anyone have experience with alcohol abusing family members?.

what can you do if they dont want to change?what do you do if they have chld(ren) being neglected and the aothorities wont help.. also what if you suspect other mental problems causing anger out bursts-threatend suicide etc.. sorry this is such a quick note as ive been up all night,but i would.

truly appreciate any advice or experience as this could be life-death as she drink drives with 3yr old .. thankyou friends

I can only tell you about the alcoholic question,being
I was raised by one. There is nothing you can do for
him/her nothing-nothing-nothing.Please take my advice
on that-might seem cruel but more crutches more drinking.
They-they have the problem-which effects all others who
NEED or want from him/her. These others can get help AA
has plenty of other support groups for the non-drunk.
Believe me the groups help. Its possible to meet some
true friends there.As for drinking and driving with a child
in the car. You need to set the person up to be arrested.
If you don't and something happens to that precious child
ask yourself-could this lead me to the same path as
the person who is now drinking? Stop feeling useless
in this situation save the child that can be saved.
As for your family member they will hate you don't
worry they hate themselves more.Tough Love is named
so because it is. The drunk won't stop until they decide
too-they decide-usally takes many trips to the bottom
though for THEM to decided to stop and it is a long
road back. Only then can you show them the great
unending love you have for them.
I don't know if you have ever heard this pray so I'll
end with it.
