Francoise-bashing the south, is relating an experience
considererd bashing. I asked a question above the ans.
coming back was 1. I'm glad the society has or has had there token "boy" on the GB. Really how norrow minded all
of us americans are. The JW's are a world wide followship
aren't they? FDS-of all colors-where's the"rainbow coalition"?
Now I'm not saying you are singing 'dixie' but being that you
seem agitated at the thought of the 'whites' not ruling. Just
a thought from a 'white' guy who went to a highly racially
tense high school. In fact were I went to school by Oct.
we had half days for the rest of the year all 4 years.
We had such good fights we were not allowed to eat
together. There was many times this "little white boy"
was protected by a "big brother" from the other side.
I thank them all-they all in one way or another had too
pay for the kindness and strength shown too me.
I would look forward to them leading the way.
Everyone would love there momma; be praising Jesus;
the food would be great;people would hug each other
upon meeting;we would trully believe we are all brothers;
and the music-oh the music-Clapton would probably
be playing rythmn guitar in that band.Seems good to
me I hope those brothers are right.

Is the Organization really free from racism?
by dedalus inone of the claims witnesses like to make is that they are color-blind, that their religion transcends matters of race and culture.
by and large, i think most "apostates" accept this, though it's all too obvious that witnesses are bigots when it comes to all non-members.. but how true is the claim that witnesses escape racial stereotyping?.
i attended an inner-city congregation with mostly black brothers and sisters.

Randall Watters exposed
by StiLLinTruth inhello again friends!.
well it was time again for me to take my weekly dose of apostate faeces and see what it tastes like.
decided to check out randy watters this time (we all love him here) and his little testimony on freeminds.org, titled "what happened at bethel in 1980?

Thank you for showing all of us 'apostates' that you
have been a JW for a year it really shows. I really
should not respond because much like me dear
ol' mom you still have your blinders on it won't
do you any good. Just a quick two things-in James
wonderful book of works-not one time-not once does
he talk of the preaching work. Although 3:1 he does
discourage many from becoming teachers.
2-Luke never-ever uses that NAME. Tell me please
being the bible student that you are where does that
NAME come from? Can you say PAGAN origins
or you don't think the catholic chruch is pagan?

Where's the justice?
by chrisauld inhi everyone, one thing that really made me question how 'just' jehovah really is, is how he could kill all the innocent children at the time of armageddon, and yet resurrect a 70 year old man who died a firm atheist????.
also, he would have a distinct advantage, u know, being brought back to life, it would convince me, anyway.. any comments?.
chris.

Governing Body Exit Doors
by Skimmer inconsider the exit doors for the governing body.. we know that there was no authoritative governing body before 1976, so i will limit the scope of this thought to the time since then.
how do members leave the governing body?.
exit door number one: death; taken by most.. exit door number two: disgrace; taken by a couple.. exit door number three: triumph; taken by raymond franz.. has it ever been the case where a governing body member has left because of senility?

Alan-I am not a faithful follower of the "Mighty Quinn".
I believe he's every bit as evil as Hitler or Stallin.
I worked with two Germans in the 80's who swore
there was no holocust and that 'little Nazi' was a
great man. How many innocent lemmings has the
"Mighty Quinn" led off the cliff to certain death.
He was 'accedemically competent' so is the doctor
who graduates last in his glass with a bong in his
hand. But he sure is not the one I want operating
on my 10 year old son. You are right in a lot of
what you say, you discredit all the others and
to some degree the "Mighty Quinn" himself.
They came up with a workable translation I love
this. Workable for who? Is it possible after Rutherford
gave that speech about the new name-all the others
looked around and said oh s**t now what are we going
to do. The Quinn's eye's came to life-he calmly
said not to worry I'll take care of it.
You yourself said Quinn was the ghost writer for most of
the study articles. Now it's time for the "Mighty Quinn"
to appear and rewrite the text book. Pretty good gig if
you can get it . NWT=money and power.
After all Wbts is a publishing co.What a nice way to make
more money more money more money but to force all
faithful followers to buy a new bible. Yes there perfectly
fine KJ version is no longer good enough. Doesn't have that
name in it. Sad to say many other christian faiths are not
backed by publishing co. Nope only the LORD. The LORD-
The LORD it seems that most of the time "Mighty Quinn"
translates the LORD as Jehovah problem is Jehovah is
not scriptual. But thats "all right ma I'm only bleeding".
If Jehovah is not scriptual you no what you can do with
NWT. As for me I was excited as all other eskimos were
to see the "Mighty Quinn" appear . But now I'm
"gonna wanna doze"
Love and Peace-Mark
p.s. could his memory been so good at the end because
he had to keep all his lies striaght for so long.
OK i'm done now-pass the brandy -

Here's a belief.........and a question
by Flowerpetal inok......lately at the baptismal talks there is mention of those getting baptized, that from that day on, they have become ordained ministers.
jehovah gives them that ordination.
so, in order for us to be ordained ministers from god, aren't we supposed to receive the holy spirit so that when we go out preaching and teaching to others, the spirit will help us and guide us to those interested individuals?.

Intro-great sentence-it seems to be very true.
"Being born again seems to me means a profound
change of the whole person, yet at the same time
there is a sense of returning to an original, natural
state of being" It sure has for me. JW's for the most
part don't put on a new personality. They stop doing
"Evil" things like-christmas-wearing of the cross-
saluting the flag-smoking- and so on. Of course
they "need works"-not the works James wrote of.
No works equal 5 meetings a week-10hours out
annoying people-and if a parent ,being sure you
make your kids life a living hell.
As for H.S and baptism I believe they are separate
happenings. Only Jesus's happened together.
The very early followers were baptized first and after
ascending HE gave H.S to them. Seems after that
it was always the other way. You accepted Jesus as
Lord and Savior recieved H.S. Then got baptized in
symbol of acceptance. Today JW's don't get baptized
for this reason: to them it's a symbol of finding the
"DARKNESS"-thus the new improved vows.

isnt that exactly what ive been saying all along and the reason that i posted in the first place?

Lone Wolf
I too have 2 brothers and 2 sisters actually all doing
what your 2 suggestions indicate.
My point is that from my personal experience you need
that MOMMENT and with out it nothing you do or don't do
changes much of anything. If not for that MOMMENT
would anything be different today for you and your mom?
Of course she needs to be in the frame of mind to accept
the momment i.e. your 2 suggestions. I'm happy for you
that you and your mom saw the MOMMENT and embraced it.
I and the rest of my family are still waiting for ours.
Peace and Love
