Suffering ,why is God slow to act?
by edmond dantes inin the 1300s the bubonic plague killed 25 million people, a third of europe's population.so why did jehovah only put jesus on battle readiness at the start of the 20th century?
you would think that god didn't care about his creation , the human race.

"The Bible is inspired by God, therefore his thoughts. we may not understand everything now but maybe God will reveal to us his mystery some day"
No he wont because he doesn't care. -

It's orgasma Mum!
I don't think the Americans will 'see' the caricatures that a native Australian does.
Many NZers think it's a bit 'cringey' but it has some 'rolly' good moments.
The Americanisation of The Office is a disaster, for example. -

He was certainly a nice bloke, Hillary.
And unlike most, he gained his Knighthood for being a selfless servant of others and NOT because he was clever at making a whole lot of money as seems to be more common.
Nice to see another Kiwi on here. A belated welcome to you.

Ron Papps - ditto, of Hamilton.
The Doug Warren dynasty, except Derek who was a great guy. -

real one -"God has a reason for everything. we cannot judge God. he does as he pleases.he has the right to rule as he pleases."
Yes, O.K. So would you say that if I decided that I stop feeding and protecting my pets and livestock that I was a loving and careful owner?
If I was prosecuted for neglect in a court of law, could my defense be that I had something better in mind for other animals a bit further down the track?
I would be mirroring my loving heavenly father would I not? -

A couple of interesting statements that stuck out:
"(if our research is correct)!"
"And if we are wrong, what of it? Better to try and fail than never to try at all. We know that if we act upon our faith we shall be saved, even if our actions are mistaken. Faith in God, faith in the bible, faith in scripture, that is."
Ho hum. -

I WAS INTERVIEWED ON TELEVISION...
by snowbird inon monday night, april 1, 2008.. the occasion was a parents' meeting to determine what is to be done with two elementary schools that have been determined by the state of alabama to be substandard.
my ten-year old granddaughter attends one of those schools.. the superintendent of schools is wanting to close those schools and bus the kids 3-4 miles to a new school that was built in 1999. the enrollment at that school has dropped sharply due to the razing of a housing project nearby.
he was at the meeting to assure us that it is a cost-saving measure and that he feels his solution is best.. well, some parents and grandparents goaded on by some teachers, gave the supt a hard time.

Good on you snowbird for speaking your unpopular mind.
"Oh well, I held my piece while in the WT.."
Mind explaining what kind of 'piece' you were holding !? :)
