I agree with Fink. As soon as Trump is out of office (and possibly in prison), she is dumping his ass.
And I have to disagree with those that think she is attractive. She looks so made up; she almost doesn't even look real.
But looks are not everything. The substance of a person is what counts, and it appears she has very little. I use to give her the benefit of the doubt and trust that she is probably a good person put in a very bad situation, but the more she talks, the more I change my mind.
Maybe she will make herself more public and I will change my mind again, but right now, she appears to be an ego-maniac like her husband, claiming she is one of the most bullied person on Earth. Dramatic, much?
I know a lot of you on this thread are right leaning Trump fans, so before you start hurling insults, just remember ...
Melania wants you to "Be Best"!

At least the WT have clarified for us how the kings will meet their end:
w60 4/1 p. 219 par. 25 Part 35—"Your Will Be Done on Earth"
"Certainly the Creator of cosmic rays, Jehovah God, could use these to affect the minds of his enemies, including the king of the north and the king of the south, and could drive them to mutual slaughter."Cosmic Rays to affect the minds of his enemies???

Court documents reveal Watchtower's tactics in Montana child abuse case
by LevelThePlayingField inthere were numerous objections and claims that watchtower lawyers made to try and get out of being held responsible for their negligence and malice.
here’s the juicy ones:.
montana is a mandatory reporting state, but watchtower lawyers claimed that the law for reporting abuse only applies to “individuals” and they are “corporations”.

I would love to know what the local elders think about the Watchtower throwing them under the bus, saying it was the individual that broke the law, and not the "corporation".

JW detained in Putin's Russia ... accused of extremism
by mikeflood infrom bbc news "five jw's from the kirov region detained with about $ 7,500 accused of funding and organizing meetings....they found literature...and two hand granades and a landmine".
the russians are such idiots planting evidence....and quarrelling with the neutral and sheepish jw land...and of course inflamating their persecution complex.

First of all, I didn't say anything about any other groups being declared as "extremists". I said there are others that have been persecuted and banned. If you would like to know more, a simple google search will get you the information you desire. The fact that you want me to do the search for you, tells me that you aren't really interested in knowing the information for yourself. You are more interested in convincing me of some viewpoint that, for some reason, you are not wanting to state verbatim. if you have a point, make it.
I do not agree with JWs being banned or classified as extremists in Russia. I think the offending behavior should be banned ... not the religion. But my point was that there are many, many religious groups that have been persecuted; some worse than the JWs. But yet they continue to use their own persecution to push their narrative that it means they are God's chosen people.

Your donations at work: WT Farms “inspirational” corn maze
by betterdaze in“best life ever” is displayed at watchtower farms, near pine bush.
the jehovah’s witnesses' maze is a work of devotional art, and not intended for exploration like the pagan ones made for hudson valley tourists every halloween.

It looks like there is one way in and no way out. A good representation of the JWs.

It is amazing to me that JWs use their persecution in Russia as proof they are the true religion when there have been so many religions persecuted and banned before them and since them. How can they be so short-sighted? If they are going to use that as a measure, they are going to have to share the field with all of the other perscuted religions that must also be "God's chosen people".
Here's an old article that talks about other religions besides JWs being banned: https://www.newsweek.com/jehovahs-witnesses-ban-russia-religion-590350

I also thought the animation wasn't as good as some of the others I have seen. Did the original animators become apostates?

World Powers
by Fred Franztone injws have a unique interpretation of the seven kings of revelation.
they of course refer to roman rulers, but the wt believe they represent certain 'world powers'.. the problem with these world powers is how arbitrary they are, not to mention the fact that none of them truly were world powers, in fact none of them even covered the entirety of europe, and the anglo-american world power isn't even a distinct entity.. then there are all of the world powers that are left out for convenience, many of which were far bigger.
the mongolian empire and the ottoman empire were both bigger than half of the chosen world powers, such as medo-persia.. has anyone ever taken this topic up with jws?
-
Wild_Thing
Their "prophesies" and interpretations were all made up by white European-American men, and it shows.
On top of that, most of the WT leaders and come up with this BS are not educated enough to even recognize what the Mongolian Empire and the Ottoman Empire were.

Should kids learn cursive handwriting?
by GrreatTeacher ini am an elementary school teacher of the fourth grade.
in times past, students would start learning cursive handwriting in third grade and by fourth should be transitioning to writing in cursive at all times.
as you might be aware, this has all but been taken out of the curriculum.
-
Wild_Thing
I teach 5th grade and I have the same issue. When I first started teaching, I wrote exclusively in cursive on the board. Now I cannot write in cursive at all on the board because they can't read it! If I need to send a note to another teacher, I just write it in cursive and send it with another student. They act like its a secret language or something. Lol
Yes, I think cursive should still be taught in schools, but I cannot carve out time to do it and its not in my curriculum to do so. They put so much on our plates to teach.
And half my kids can't read a clock either. They all have iPads now so they keep track of time that way and don't have to ask me what time it is anymore.
