Watchtower 2005 CD library - can anyone help me??
by Super_Becka inok, so in my efforts to get some research done and learn more about the wts rather than relying solely on everyone else here for help, i decided to download the 2005 wt library to do my own searches and such.
after all, how else would a non-jw like myself have access to past publications and such??
and i'm dying of curiosity here, i want to do some of my own research, just to see what i can come up with.. so i download the iso file and then i don't know what to do with it.. i tried downloading an iso-burning tool, but that won't work for me.

I tried to download it also (my mom needed help with her talk, go figure) and it did not work for me so I think I will just order it at the lit counter. By the way, becka- your boyfriend does not have the CD-ROM himself?

Comments You Will Not Hear at the 3-5-06 WT Study (Patience)
by blondie inhis faithful servants--only jws, not "so-called" christians.
7 a second point that we can draw from peter's words is that jehovah is patient because he desires all to attain to repentance.
"consider the patience of our lord as salvation," wrote peter to fellow christians.

We've all heard the "we can all see the ones that have come into the Troof over the years who would not have had the chance if it wasn't for Jehobah's patience"

He resently finished with me because he wants to become baptized! I should be mad really, but i have 2 say that the reasent signs in the world like the consistant earthquakes ect have really opened my eyes as 2 whether or not jw teachings may be true!
Tashy
What a scumbag! So he basically just dropped you as if his time with you was up? Honey, honey, honey I am sure you know you deserve better treatment than that.
Anyone know of an article that has been circulating that proves the WT's teaching on earthquakes being a sign of the end is babble??Tasha I will find it for you. Earthquakes, big and small have been constant for ages now.

im in love with a Jehovah's Witness
by saddler ini've fallen in love with a jehovah's witness and i know she feels the same way about me but the problem is that im a methodist and cant find it in me to give up my faith and become a jehovah's witness as i would not expect her to give up her faith and it is driving us both crazy.
i've known this lovely lady for the past 8 years and have only now told her how i feel and every second im away from her im thinking of her wanting to be with her.
so im asking people who might know or be able to help

I'm wit propchecor on this one: RUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!
Ok, but let's be fair here. You are in love which is a very powerful thing. It depends on how into the JW mindset she is in? I mean, she could be real liberal guys, Maybe only been a witness for a couple years and whatnot. After all, she is dating an "unbeliever" but if she is a fanatical JW..well then find the nearest exit my friend.

How DARE he?! This is why I'm still Single!!!
by stillAwitness inwell, i was dating this guy and its been a long time since i have even been with anyone that i thought was worthwhile.
i've been focusing on other things and with everything else going on with trying to gain my independance i just have not wanted to get caught up.
anyways, how dare the guy i was seeing call the whole jw mind-cult issue "stupid" when i tried to explain to him why i am the way i am (awful social skills, the simple excitement from just being around a new scene, etc.

LDH you make complete sense. Its obvious that although I don't think I am being oversensitive maybe I am allowing something that I have been made to believe is so different from the norm deserves a standing ovation or something.
I mean, here I am still addressing those on the outside as the rest of "the world: Hello StillA? You are in the world. You're a part of this too now snap out of it and embrace your 20's and the hell with the men that drive you insane! At least they pay for dinner without asking.

I chose to fade, plus I moved 2000 miles away from my family so it keeps the badgering down. Everyone thinks I'm a faithful active witness, when in reality
I haven't been to a KH in 3 years. woo hoo!!!!
You sir are my hero! I have heard this done before but never thought it could actually be pulled of! Cool!
So ya spit in a WT daniel? LOL! Hey man, you get much cool points for that one!
Now I dare you to burn all your suit and ties and donate your service bag to the american red cross
P.S I really would not stress over it. The best thing to do is just relax and maybe leave it up to God..yeah, sounds cliche but maybe forcing yourself to make a decision now will just have you making a hasty one and really-you only get one shot at this.
Perhaps you can kindly ask your wife to back off as you get your mind togethor..and in the meantime..woo her with flowers and candy, compliments and other romantic gestures; you'd be surprised at how sidetrack us women get when our men suddenly get all lovey-dovey on us
