by dozy inthe wts has sent a letter to all convention overseers expressing their increasing concern at sisters "directing brothers" at district conventions.. with immediate effect (ie for dc 2008), sisters are no longer to be used as volunteers in parking and security / watchman departments.
any sisters volunteering in other departments (eg toilet cleaning) must be subordinate & follow the direction of appointed brothers.
this move will put a huge burden on the dcs in my area - nearly half the volunteers for parking are sisters and there aren't enough volunteers as it is.

anyone remerber around the early 70,s there was a crackbown on brothers with mustaches. One of the reasons that was given, if the big one comes, the angels may mistake you for a worldly person. In the new system, women you will have the privilege for everlasting to be second class, what a privilege. This is one sick group of people.

thought i would share some of the points here for newbies and all others to see just what a person exiting a cult, or jehovah's witnesses might go through psychologically so they can better know how to deal with the various emotions of anger, guilt , and sadness that can accompany leaving the witnesses.

for the newbies exiting, please, please do not beleive the bull you will be like a dog returning too his vomit. You are total responsible for your actions. If you beleive you are a bad person then you will become bad, but if you beleive y0u are a good person then you will be. We have experience the ups and dowms.I really beleive my life would be a failure. I live my life too self -destruct. The net save me.

It,s funny to think how far I have come along since leaving the borg. in 1987.I lost my family four kids and other family members. But over the years things have change dramamatically. Two of my kids are out .I have a good relationship with three of my kids. I was just told that my one child that i do not have any contect with have just enroll at OSU in okla.My son told me I should give her a call , i can not bring my self to do that.I have written her off. SHE HAVE NOT BEEN APART OF MY LIFE FOR OVER 15YRS. WHEN SHE GOT MARRIED MY BROTHER GAVE HER AWAY, SHE HAVE A FOUR YEAR OLD DAUGHTER I HAVE NEVER SEEN. I HAVE BEEN OUT SINCE 1987 AND THERE ARE STILL SOME BAD MEMORIES .MY SON ASK ME THE OTHER DAY, DAD DO YOU THINK YOU AND OTHERS ON THE NET WILL BRING DOWN JW ORG. I'm a Pioneer Married To a Wonderful Brother Reaching Out to be an MS...

so, i decided that when i have get a study i would research all the questions as i go along so as to prove everything in the truth... i got 4 studies in about 2 months.

i phone my brother a well known elder in the Pasadena ca area a few months ago. I told him if you could answer a few question that i have for you and if you can prove to me that i am wrong in my conclusion i would be at the next meeting at the kh. My first question false prophecy. Before we could get into some of the dates, he told me the conversation has ended, you are lost too the devil i have nothing too do with you anymore, do not call me anymore you are dead too me. He is my younger brother and i help him to become a jw.

my bible states., in vs 3 of genesis there was evening and there was morning one day. Each created day ended with evening, morning and the next day. I turn 60 this year. A year for me today seems like one month. The older I get the faster the time pass. But a day is still 24hrs. Anyone that reads today knows that this earth is lot older then 50000 yrs.

these were not the ones being converted in their home countries - when you have to work 14-18 hours a day, 7 days a week just to feed your family, there is no time to "study", attend meetings, go out in field servce, etc.. so, they go to their new country.

there are strong ties too the catholic faith from those that come from latin american. I have notice also there are strong family ties.What i have seen is , there are families experiencing division due to their newly found faith. This thay can see, it divide families.

Special Bethel Talk Last Week

last sunday a bethel speaker came to our hall (crenshaw congregation) and gave two talks.
one on "avoiding satan's snares" and the other on "showing patience towards jehovah and his organization.

apologies for all the young ones born in the 60;s and 70.s. I also was a vietnam vet. Became a jw 1969.In the late 60,s in my area a large number of young married people fill the kingdom halls. And the ones that fill those halls were Doctors,lawyers,executives,people with high academic degrees. So we believe our decision too become a JW was the best thing for our family. We where worng. I can see many here are from that generation. When we came in we had the nice jobs, that made it possible too have nice homes ,cars and etc. So what have we done, we have produce a generation that do not have the necessary tools too live a fullfill life. Our children are raise too move up in the quality of life, too exceed your folks. This will not be possible with the view on higher learning. This will only create frustration.The growth came in the 60,s and 70,s kingdom halls being built, assemble halls. Then a lot of the big monies left and then the KH begain too close. Maybe they will wake up and realize college is not the enemy.Mormons go too college and they remain Mormons but with a capability of a larger contribution.

Were you ever afraid of demons?
by Regretful_J inhello everyone, my story is a unique one i suppose but here it goes.,, ever since i was a little boy whenever i would voice my objections about this religion my parents would tell me im making satan happy and that i'm inviting demons into are house by saying and thinking things like this.
my parents are such religious fanatics that it seems like nothing i do can ever be good enough for them.
to this day they always claim that they come down hard on me like this because "they're trying to protect me".

one thing i have learn since leaving the borg. is not to be judgmental. But my exprience with people that beleive in demons and such, are the same people, like my daugther who is still in the org.beleive that kfc grew headless chickens.She also beleive Bill Gates was giving away money. The point that i am trying too make is people are gullible. When I tell her the org. was a member of UN, they have lied too you, she look at me as if I told her I saw a person from out of space.

i thought about this and what would the advantages and disadvantages?
it would be a state in the south, i don,t think they could get many too go to some island, james town.

All the kids in the school would be jws. You would work for a jw. know more explaining why you do not celebrate the holidays.They might increase in numbers.If they move to state of , let say Ark. A million a so jw moving to that state , what would happen. They could take over any city. People would move out when someone is knocking on your door seven days a week. So if you do not become a jw then you move. The disadantages know one to preach too. And as time passes they take over the whole state. Then they become just as that other group,.
