Well, this morning It was still there, hardly moved....so I took my flyswatter and took a whack at it, but it was too high at the ceiling and it spiralled away and I can't see it anymore....
Now it will be seeking revenge on you.

i'm sure you all heard what happened in texas, i believe these are signs of the coming of the kingdom of god.
state investigators say they have discovered a bedinside thelygamist compound temple that was reserved for husbands -- often middle-aged men -- to have sex for the first time with their underage 'wives.
this is supposed to be a place for worship not sexual acts.
I've never understood the argument that I have seen polygmists use on tv that when a girl gets her period that she is old enough to get married and start spewing forth babies. Yeah, 200 or 300 years ago people got married when they were teenagers commonly, but the average life expectancy was just in your 40s. That's just one religion that blows my mind. Besides the Witnesses. And yes, I do know that not all Mormons believe in polygamy.
Oprah had a show about polygamy not too long ago. Not anything about underage girls being married, but there were these completely normal looking women who were married to the same man. Some were even biological sisters. That was a really perverse thought to me about how any sisters would want to be married to the same man. Ugh.
so, we aren't going to stay young and never die.
how do you feel about aging, especially those of you that are over 35?
aging poses some concerns for me, especially since i am 49 and pretty much single.
It would if those hairs would lay down with rest of my hair, but no they have to be unruly and stick out. Damn apostate hairs.

My hair is turning white! And those little white hairs are wiry and a coarse. My natural hair is blonde so no one but me is noticing this. Oh well. And I think things are getting better with age.
i ask this because a person i know who had a rather short fade.
is now living a... lets just say a distinctly worldly life, and.
the elders are simply looking the other way.
Yes, you can. I was out, inactive, whatever you want to call it for about 6 or 7 years. I can't remember exactly how long. Then the elders suddenly wanted to meet with me. I was pregnant. I never did meet with them. I even asked the elder who was so adament about it why they never did a shepharding call with me way back when. Anyway, I never went to their little meeting. I was busy having my baby shower that day. I was disfellowshipped then. No one in the "world" knew I was a JW. I had made the mistake of going to one meeting that year. The Memorial. I got a registered letter in the mail but I don't think I ever did read it.
it is almost like reading code.

can't everyone just put this one item on their profile before posting.
it seems like most posters have no profile, but this info could help in several ways.
i am just guessing, but it seems like more here were born in.....your thoughts on this?......oompa.
Born in.
i found this online.
i have not seen it on here before so i thought i would post it.
it is a test to determine if you belong in the jw religion.
ugh, now I am going to go to bed. I'll probably have nightmares of my old pioneering days.
i was watching oprah yesterday and she was talking about how some people are afraid to read this because they think it will interfere with their religious beliefs.
it got me to wondering if any believing jw's are reading this.
I was about to start a topic about this book. I think JW's would consider this a new age philosophy and therefore it is off limits. Some things
have struck me kinda funny from the start of the book where it talked about 1914, the things that happened at that date. Last night, I was
reading about how whatever your religion is, is "the Truth" ( it's in quotes in the book) to you. It says there is good in all religion and that if a
religion says that it is the only true religion then it is a lie. Just from that this would be a demonized book to JW's. And I paraphrased greatly
there.
