Thou shall not kill? Makes no sense?
by free2beme ini always thought, when reading the bible, that the commandment "thou shall not kill" made no sense.
after all, the god who supposely gave it commanded his own people to kill.

Simple, don't Kill don't pull out a gun and shoot people! I think thoughts on murder and wishing death is also breaking the commandmant, along with Suicide and suicidal thoughts
I don't think anyone has the right to take a life of another, but good point with the hitlar thing, couldn't we just jail him for life?

What a Prat!
by ozziepost inthis evening mrs ozzie and i went to our favorite local restaurant - it's out in the outer suburbs, a lovely small thai restaurant - well, any food eaten with chopsticks is okay with us!.
anyway, we entered and there at a middle table sat a family of three - father, mother and daughter.
nothing unusual about that except, well it was the badge card that caught my eye.

Hello, sorry my account stuffed up yesterday and I couldn't log in
In Australia alcohol advertising is allowed but people have problems with it because it exploits women and is real controversial, and it encourages young people to drink. Anyone seen the couger add? with the blond women with big breasts wearing barely anything serving alcohol to a man.
Well I am on the negative team saying that alcohol advertising should be allowed. Lost by one point though.
But we can still debate the topic for the fun of it on this thread.
I was first speaker my main arguments was the economy, the fact that alcohol is legal, about winerys in Australia and how its one of our major tourist attractions is the wine tours, we have wine tours Australia wide.
And I also talked about the Cultures, how italians drink a glass of wine at dinner and how they give their children wine at dinner.
Any Aussies here went on a wine tour? I went on one in South Australia when I was about 7-8 years old

Uh-hum, dinner actually - at eight in the evening, and as i said, miles away from the Superdome - that's miles and miles!! Of course he was a prat!

I'm sure he lived nearby Ozzie, don't think he'd go to the trouble of wasting all that petrol otherwise.
Name tag? haha! nothing can be more disturbing then walking around the shops forgetting you left your name tag on then a complete stranger comes up to you and say "hi (name)!" then you'd respond "umm who are you and how do you know my name?"

well, here in tx, it is almost 6am.. i have been up all night....i have had a lot of insomnia lately, ack...and since i went to bed really late friday(actually saturday morning about 5am) and didn't get up until the afternoon saturday, i figured it would be better to just stay up all night and try again to sleep like a normal human being sunday night.. ack....how about the rest of you?.
i am listening to tori amos and surfing the web in between loads of laundry hahah.

I see people walk around in suits on Saturday...... (mainly real-estate agents and people who work on saturday)
I don't see the problem ozzie, I walk around in my netball uniform on saturday, cause I go to the shops on the way home, people are like "ohh did you win today?"
