WOW! Does this bring back memories! I was in 5th grade when all this came out. The only ones I don't remember listening to at that time was the Bowie one, I discovered that one later.
I remember Bohemiam Rhapsody being played on a Sunday nite on my old AM clock radio. I kept wondering how long the song was going to go on!
BTW, I always thought Valli was singing "My Eyes of Georgia" "...Like a million miles away from me you couldn't see Hawaii, Georgia. So close, so close and yet so far."
Now, here it is, my son is in 5th grade, and he doesn't listen to a lot of current pop. He likes the Beatles, like his old man. I am making him a classicist early on.
