i have been making jewelry for as long as i can remember.
for a few years i earned a living making jewelry and traveling to art shows to sell it, i even had one of those liitle carts in the mall when i was 17...ran it by myself.
i stopped making stuff for a while but i have recently restarted my business and it is taking off!
That is beautiful work.....keep it up....it's nice to have a hobby that you can actually make a living at...good for you!!! You go girl!!!!

does anyone have any ideas for a birthday gift/surprise/whatever for a 24 year old?
my brother turns 24 tomorrow and has never had a family member do anything for his birthday.
i would like to do something but really have no idea what to do.
I don't know if your brother is into house parties, but I'm having a first b-day party for my husband since we left the borg. It's his 40th in August, and I am inviting some friends and relatives over to play poker, and listen to some good tunes, have a few beers.....Does your brother like sports??? Maybe some sportswear, or tickets to a game? Music cd's, dvd's, guitar magazines, gadgets for his musical instruments???? These are some of the things I keep in mind when buying for my younger brother, he plays electric guitar and drums and loves anything along these lines...good luck, I'm sure your brother will love anything you get him.....

.
they played the wrong song for about 30 seconds, and everone was trying to sing to the tune....lol.
dum dums....
I don't remember the exact "last" meeting that I attended, it was over 8 years ago. But I do know that it was always the same old boring talks, same info, given by the same old boring people....same old condescending attitudes, cliques....Parents trying to take notes, while their young children were fussing and squirming about in their seats, because it was way past their bedtimes.....old ones trying to keep from falling asleep, the teenagers biting their fingers in anticipation of the meeting finally coming to an end so they could screetch off in their hot cars to the local pubs....and carry on in a typical teenager fashion . Life is far too short...I..don't miss it one little bit!!!!! For years I hated going to meetings and would come up with an excuse to stay home almost every time.....Now, no excuses, and no meetings....gotta love it!!!

which albums did you throw out after that landmark talk at an assembly round about the mid 80's?.
i got rid of:.
elo (widely regarded as having back tracking on one song).
My mom threw out my AC/DC album, Back in Black, and I went out and bought it again. This happened 3 times, and I own the cd once again ,lol...She also got rid of my Van Halen albums, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Elton John, even a Rush album....crazy. I went out and bought an Iron Maiden tape and she really freaked....hahahahahahahaha....I replaced all my AC/DC collection, and Pink Floyd, and some of my Elton John cd's.....She would go absolutely insane, if she saw my Nine Inch Nails collection, and my husband's punk rock cd's......

would you go to a funeral at a kingdom hall?
would it have to be someone that is very close family or just an acquaintance?.
i dont know that jw funerals really off ther much closer and point blank i can not think of a single person i would go to the hall for.
Thank you, thank you very much......Scotsman.......yup, I'm 29 again, lol

How incredibly sad, and scarry!!!! It proves how vulnerable we are, as humans, that we aren't in control of our own destinies.....that something so microscopic can take our life in a matter of hours....Who's really running the show???? Not us, that's why we need to live each day as best we can, don't look back, don't worry about the past,(even tho' it's easier said than done!), and enjoy ourselves today.....

I know that when my grandparents pass, there will be a memorial service at the KH, and yes I will go. Only because they are my family, I love them dearly, and no religious group of fanatics are going to intimidate me into staying away....I'm not DF'd or DA'd, but I know the animosity they spew towards my brother and I...so, yes, it will be hard, but I am determined to go, and hold my head high.....maybe I will have a couple of shots of tequila first.....hahaha. No, just kidding.
