  ..just wondering.. i'd thought of maybe visiting somewhere like turkey later this year.

  i believe it's absolutely stunning.

  plus, the people are said to be very pleasant too.

  No,I wouldn't, and not cause I'm American but simply because I’m not Muslim. Extremists believe anything not-Muslim is a legitimate target.

  The truth of the matter is, dubs only help the dubs. The fact that they help other religions with political freedom is unintended. They use the fact that they have helped others is one they push solely to help legitimize themselves.

  Hell, my mother knows I'm already demonized. She's seen some of my Iron Maiden album covers. LOL, nothing like a picture of Eddie to scare the crap out of someone. When I was a kid, I had a poster of a Metallica concert. It was from the Master of Puppets tour. It was them on stage, in front of rows of crosses. My mom just loved it.

  just wondering, my experience tells me that many jw live in constant state of watchfulness, bordering with paranoia.

  did any of that have an effect on you?

  like last week ive had a pleasure of browsing new childrens book great teacher or something (well it was new to me anyway) i was mightily surprised on the number of references to satan or devil.

  As a kid, I always loved horror movies. I remember each time I watched one, more so the "demonized" ones, I wouls lay in bed and say "johobba" three times thinking it would scare away demons. I remember hearing about saying 3 times but is it written anywhere?

  Do JWs believe in "signs"

  do jws believe that god can use mundane everyday things to show his will?

  my friend says she doesn't believe in signs, i am wondering if this is a jw mindset or her personal one.

  it is something i have asked her and she said it was her beliefe but i wonder how much the wts had to do with it.

  They defiantly believe in signs. It’s pretty funny actually. Every time someone in the UN as much as hiccups, I hear from my family they’re ready to turn on religion!! The end is almost here!! They are very wrapped up in watching world news looking for anything they can attach a prophesy to.

  Well Cord, I would like to thank scholar for posting. He shows just how ridiculous the argument FOR 607 really is, based on nothing. He made my resolve in believing I'm doing the right thing that much stronger.
