I think it's all bullshit. I mean the bible contains a lot of bullshit and this is some. The year 1000 is a thousand years ago and nothing happened in 2000 (I sure as hell wasn't expecting anything to happen) I refuse to be misled by anything and that includes the bible. Well thats what I think...

Seattledude, that's a very good piece of information, I've thought about it before but never see any information about it. It looks like fertile ground for doing a follow-up study. If only the tower would cooperate, which they won't.
Also I wonder what percentage of new recruits already experience psychological problems before becoming jw. I think this number probably is much higher than in the general population.

Buying Iraqi Dinars as an Investement.
by Flash ini recently bought some iraqi currency (dinars) as an investement.

You could have bought Euro's 2 years ago, they have apreciated 30% since (against the dollar). Thinking about, the dinar might not be a bad investment though speculating in currency is always somewhat risky. Hope it works out for you.

austrian economics? never heard of those. I do know about specialisation. America still has some comparative cost advantages, mainly high tech. My suggestion would be to let the old non competative industries go to china while you focus the economy on profitable high tech, even just development. The problem with this is however that you 're short of qualified labour while unschooled labour is demanded less, you''ll have more unemployment in this segment of the labourmarket. Economic change isn't painless.

that's weird, I never heard of a ladybug plague...At least they're less repulsive then other insects. Most kids I know love 'em, but a 1000 in one place would be a bit much. Maybe you can sell 'em, make a business out of ladybugs. Ladybug inc. well good luck
