I hope that works for you. My wife refuses to read any articles I've printed out right off the CD. She wont even look at them on the computer screen.

an elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.
he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.
i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy
if this happens i dont think that they will go through the trouble of announcing all those names, they will probably just give a talk where they tell people if someone has become inactive you should treat them the same way as you would a DF'd person, it will be up to the Elder's to 'sheperd' them back into the flock, publishers should not attempt to.
i hope it doesnt happen because i have a good relationship with my parents without being a hypocrite. i know my father knows that according to JW standards we shouldnt be on such friendly terms but because no hard line policy has been set he can justify it to himself, if they take the hard line approach he will choose the WT err Jehovah.

i have been thinking about why the change in the way df?d and da?d are announced, then it hit me.
i know in my area more and more are choosing to leave on their own terms (da).
i believe the "fds" are starting to see this more and more, when this happens, some "faithful" will be more prone to question, "why?
sounds reasonable but actually i think that most people view a DA as much worse than a DF, its like JW's are conditioned to believe that a DA's person must be possessed by demons.

handling the mike and reading for the bookstudy was about as far as i got, i used to dread being called upon to pray, i would avoid eye contact with my father or whoever was the conductor.

really the only thing that sets the JW's apart from these other small orthodox fundamentalist christian cults is that the Russell started a very powerful and profitable propaganda machine early on in its history. if it were not for the publishing corporation the JW's would be a small cult with an equally small yet devout following.
i?ve been researching the references to a great crowd at revelation 7 and 19. it seems to me that there is little doubt that the vision places them in heaven.
naos, enopion, and the reference to heaven in chapter 19 seem pretty conclusive as to their heavenly position to me.
my problem is that, when i read revelation 21:1-4 it seems to me that this is speaking about the same group as the 'a great crowd' at chapter 7 and 19. at 7:15 it says god will spread his tent over this group.
do they still offer the revelation book or do they pretend it doesnt exist? a little off topic, sorry
