my eight year old daughter asked a very interesting and thought provoking question the other day and i thought i would ask it here.
she asked "if you were allowed to do something bad, what would it be?
" interestingly enough, both her and my son and me all picked the same thing, which was stealing.
OK ... if I could commit one crime with impunity … it would be to smoke some amazing kind bud …..strip naked and swim in the lake while chomping down Carmellos and giving my hubby a …. Well you get the picture ….
We can only have one crime??? Is that more than one???

i was at the hospital all day with my best friend, mattie.
she had a biopsy on her colon this morning.
they are looking for cancer, seeing they can't seem to find anything else causing her problem.
I will pray for the both of you. I hope you will keep us posted on Mattie's condition. I have an uncle and cousin who both have Crohn's disease and it is not an easy life.

Actually,
Sky recently moved to Washington state (I think Seattle area). Maybe she is just taking some time to settle in before paying us a visit.

i am beginning to think my mom is reigning queen!.
My mother has a unique way of looking at it. She assumes that if someone is happy outside of the JW's, it is because the DEVIL has them right where he wants them and he is taking it easy on them. She has also been known to whisper "they are recieving their reward in full" behind a particularly happy person's back.

summer is nearly upon us and it would be great to arrange a 'get together' (wt speak) sometime so that some of us could meet up.
i thought i'd give plenty warning so that we can arrange something and get suggestions for venue etc .... i was thinking of a nice hotel (with a pool if pos) and nearby to somewhere suitable for a family day out.. people could just go for the day or stop for a weekend as they preferred and we could do things as families during the day and then have a meal in the evening, have a few beers etc .... we're near manchester but don't mind travelling for a couple of hours or so (we have 2 small kids) - in fact, it would be nice to go somewhere like wales, the lake district, the peak district ... you get the idea (just away from the cobbled streets and slums).. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions then let us have them!.
oh, and forget you're british!!!
Wouldn't it be cool if we could all save our pennies and pop in on Englishmans Bday in 2003???
