Facebook condemned

my wife told me that at the last meeting, the elders announced that youngsters going to the skateboarding park were no longer to have any privileges in the congregation.

this is to prevent jw youngs to be rounded up if a drug raid was made at the skateboarding park.. also because of individuals requesting that they be friends on facebook that contain bad pictures, that anyone with a facebook account will automatically have their privileges removed.. sounds like the pharasees protecting the people by adding additional traditions upon them.. .

This is also why elders had some special instructions dictated to them and recorded on page 143 of their elders book. No official letter from the "mother" but dictated and written in by hand. Allows them to duck for cover and deny everything if they want.

It only makes the kids do more things in the darkness and privacy of their own bedrooms. Push the kids underground. The younger dubs aren't stupid as far as the internet is concerned. New account, new user names, inform your friends by text message, and it is business as usual. Parents wouldn't have a clue.

My feeling is, that upon leaving the borg, it is worth it. As far as it being god's organization.... he left a long time ago too, if indeed he was ever there in the first place.

Imagine the heart beat that this guy had when he decided to post? The reading the follow ups and thinking he was real clever! I hope that he has the COURAGE to stay a while, read, and LEARN........

Since Leaving The "Truth" Is Your Life Better?

you are told that if you "go back to the vomit" of the world, you will be miserable.. is your life better or worse since you've removed yourself from the organization's hold?.

Way better.... If I want to waste my own free time, that is one thing, but when it is done for me, for what is in the end no good reason, then it is another thing completely.

Even if it were "the truth" I wouldn't want it.... Like someone said to my wife recently: "Once you've had black.... you'll never go back!" [I think they were talking about coffee!!!!!!]

Interesting that the court was told he was no longer a JW.... probably kicked him just before he went to trial. Oh well, he can always work real hard and get re-instated. Elders and MinServs will be encouraged to visit and support him while he is in jail.... He will be back witnessing asap!

Do dubs intentionally mess up other people's holidays/birthdays?

mine does.

goes way out of her way to stir up trouble, conflict, and manipulate the former and non-dub relatives into not having a nice holiday.

goes to extremes to do so, and is at it again, right on cue..

My in-laws always end up with a CA as well as a CO visit and even a pioneer school over what should be the christmas holidays, so even if they wanted to do something to relax, they are usually on high alert.... [they are over 80 years old and have to persecute themselves that they need to do more!!!]

Man I had to bite my tongue. I know that his mother [my sister] used to be allowed to go to our cousins birthday nearly every year! I know who the sucker is..... the kid with no presents...

They say, oh we can give our children a present any time we want, we dont have to have a birthday... then go ahead and give them nothing!!!

Hypnotism:

1) Bypassing the critical factor of the conscious mind

I have studied this and it is true. Once a dub thinks about getting ready to go to the meeting, the critcal factor is bypassed. Let alone sit there and have it bored to sleep via the meeting program. The prayer is the same...exactly the same as a group hypnotherapy session, the song deepens the trance and away you go. You can be in hypnosis with your eyes open. Add to that concentrating, note taking, participation.... the trance gets deeper and deeper...

Is it possible for an Elder to get back his "priviledges" after being demoted?

There was a guy here where I live, who was an elder, had a slightly shady business deal, explained his way out of it, but because of the "noteriety" was demoted to ms..... he then jumped congs and was re-appointed as an elder in no time flat.
