  All the thousand upon thousand preaching hours has resulted in the general public knowing the following:

  1. I think Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate holidays? 2. I think they don't accept medical assistance? 3. They annoyingly come to your house in the early morning.

  That is what this preaching of the good news has accomplished in the last hundred years.

  The genearl public don't know about life in a paradise earth, 1000 year reign, resurrectuion of the dead on earth or even the fact that Gods name is Jehovah.

  By their preaching success rate the end of the system of things won't come for another 1000 or so years.

  Interesting how on one end the WT tells those with disassociated/disfellowshiped (especially apostates) relatives to cut/minimize their association with them but on the other end they portray (WT magazines, year book, assembly experiances) those who have lost their families because they joined JW's as victims deserving of our sympathy.

  blue whale is the largest animal on earth,.... it would take huge cranes and a lot of manpower to carry one of those animals,.... how did noah achieve this?.

  did he have cranes and chains?.

  did he have a large enough aquarium on board, with salt water?.

  My two cents:

  A careful examination of the coral reefs shows that this event did not occur.

  A coral reefs age is easily figured out by its calcium deposits left behind by coral polyps during annual lunar cycles. In simple terms you count the deposits and you figure out the age.

  Corals are one of the oceans most sensitive life forms and easily die (bleach) with high concentrations of waste products (sediment run off that cause high levels of ammonia, nitrates, phosphates, total dissolved solids, oxygen depletion, etc.) that then leads to algae blooms that block sunlight from the corals and then add more waste once the algae dies. This assures the corals death.

  If a global deluge happened (that covered the whole earth) and added an extraordinary amount of fresh water to the earth oceans, pH, alkalinity and salinity levels would drop incredibly, once again assuring that coral reefs would die.

  Examining the coral reefs show that 4000 plus years ago a uniform global crisis did not happen.

  elders came to my home asking if charges of adultery against me are true (going through divorce).

  i state to them that i wish not to discuss matters with them since this is a personal matter and if in the future i change my mind i will seek them.

I know of an ex-elder who is now in city council that threaten the elders with a law suit if he was DF'd 8 years ago and nothing was ever done.

  Here is the gist of things: Elders came to my home asking if charges of adultery against me are true (going through divorce). I state to them that I wish not to discuss matters with them since this is a personal matter and if in the future I change my mind I will seek them. They state it is a serious matter and have some circumstantial evidence and will like me to defend myself before a judicial committee. I say no and and say it's ridiculous to have a hearing without the accused. I have not been to meeting since 2004 so I can't be viewed as a threat, they have been coming to my door for a year and a half but I have not encountered them till now. One of the elders that visited me is good friends with my ex's father who is an elder in another congregation. I feel this is just a personal vandetta because of the close assocition this elder has with my ex father in law, if not why bother with me and ask me to defend myself. Can they have a judicial committee without me? What can I do to prevent them from DF me? The only reason I care about being Df'd is because my whole family are still JW's and tolerate the fact I don't go to meetings don't want to make things difficult for them. Thanks for your help.

  Free to Re-Marry

  if one confesses adultry to their spouse, does one also have to confess it to the elders in order for the spouse to be free to re-marry?

  watchtower refrences would be appreciated.. a friend recently confessed adultry to his wife but she wants him (he hasn't gone to meeting in years) to confess to the elders or write a letter about the deed, she says she needs it inorder for her to be free to re-marry.

  is this true?.

  I could not submit with cut and paste but here is the deal.

  My friend the package (TP) is supposed to get his kids every other weekend but that is becoming a problem. Let me explain:

  His wife is living at her JW parents house which has a swimming pool and our father in law is the PO of the local congregation so plenty of JW kids associate with TP daughters and they love it, to the point that it is becoming increasinly difficult for TP's daughters to want to stay with him when he is suppose to get them since mom has fun things to do.

  How can the package turn that tide, how can he compete

  If you continue resisting their call to return to the matrix, and they still have anything to do with you, then you can truly know they are your friend; but since you are already catching hell for the mere act of growing a beard (horrors!) you have good reason to wonder.

  Sitting here alone

  as i've mentioned, i've stopped going to meetings three months ago, this morning i took my kids to breakfeast and they asked if i was going to meeting.

  i told them no becasue i had something to to.

  my youngest wanted to know why i have not shaven, really did not respond.
