I'd like to take some JW elders and, somehow, someway, put them into a parallel-fear enviroment similar to the kind they instill in children. I don't know how I would do it but it sure would be fun . . .scare those " men of God" so bad they would end up in psyche wards.

My mom took my son to KH after I told her not to

i found out today that my mom took my son to the kh behind my back when she was in town visiting.
he's just a little baby so he will have no memories of it.

The original sin
by onacruse inthis is a question i've had for a long time.. according to the biblical account, adam and eve's sin was to eat fruit from the forbidden tree.. now, ordinarily, when we get caught doing something "wrong," we try to hide the "offending" member (the child tries to hide his hand that has the 'stolen' cookie; we hurriedly try to pull our pants back on when mom walks in unexpectedly while we're masturbating, etc.)..
so, if the "sin" of adam and eve was eating a forbidden fruit, then why wasn't their first impulse to hide their hands?
or to wipe off their mouths?

The fruit that Adam and Eve ate was called "Lust". Before that particular brunch they were innocent concerning sexual desires. Once they partook of the delicious fruit their bodies were filled with raging sex hormones . . .and the rest is history.

One Minute After You Die?
by Outaservice inwe have various types of people on this board, some believers in god, others atheists, some agnostics, and others still jw's at heart.. in your opinion, what do you believe happens to a person one minute after they die?
how about if they are good or bad?.

I was taking care of my dieing uncle and happened to be at his bedside when he died. In the minute that he died and within the 60 seconds thereof an audible ' whoosh' left him. It was obviously his spirit leaving his body. I was amazed at the ' physicallness' of it all.
