I have been convinced for some time that the mighty org is under liquidation, and the money is going to the pockets of the initial investors. The 3P (Third Party)

Now, I do not propose to know who 3P is. And I have no proof they exist. But I do believe they indeed exist and I can speculate on their identity. I can also speculate on the timing of the fire sale.

In the way of setting the stage for good speculation, ponder the timing of the child abuse scandal. One could ask "why now?" The answer, although speculation, would seem to be simple. In fact, the question could equally be "why NOT now?"

Those molested, were molested as children and those kids are growing up now. It's now that they are becoming aware of what has really happened to them and the gravity of their pain. And it is now that they are becoming emboldened to speak up.

I speculate that Zion's Watchtower found friends in suffering during WWII. Zionists.

I propose these Jews funded/invested in WTBTS because of the suffering based friendships born out of WWII and the desire to make money. I further speculate that the original generation prospered through their investment in WTBTS and that now they are dying off, their offspring taking the reins. These offspring feel no partnership as did their now deceased parents and they want to liquidate their investment. Possibly they see the 'handwriting on the wall' as the pedophile emerge from the dark corners into the light.

I could be blowing smoke up everyone'a ass. It would make for a hell of a movie though.

A better way to ask questions - Anybody remember "Amazing"?

first of all, i wonder whatever happened to jim whitney (aka amazing).

when i first joined this forum, i remember being so impressed by the way he got his family out.

instead of knocking the organization head-on, he would ask questions that can't be answered during his family study, such as, "how would you answer someone if they said we were false prophets?

My wife and I asked a pair of elders, at the service group, how we reconcile not taking blood with taking fractions of blood and not donating. These supposed pillars of the congregation began shaking out of fear. Not exaggerating.... literally shaking. They wanted to get out of there so fast...

They take the attendance in the morning and meet with the elders at lunch break.

Suddenly, the "expenses" for the convention happen to work out, consistently, according to this formula.

E = AP where E is expenses, A is attendance and P is price per head.

with the intention of spending less time working and more time in f.s i saw this many times.

an ex c.o started a carpet cleaning business with the charter being spending less time working more time in f.s.

he has long since passed away and the company is now huge being the major player in flood resteration and employing 100's of people one of the owners i spoke to recently was sick due to using to many chemicals but carries on becouse he loves the money even though he's worth millions.

There's plenty bros here who started businesses for themselves. The two mitigating factors seem always to be;

1) Low Education/Employability

2) Desire to self-spiritualize. (Pioneer etc)

One bro here, he's an elder, does painting etc. But now the end is not here, yet his need for shelter and sustenance persists.

He complains often that he "can't do it anymore" and that he's old. I usually join in, suggesting he's going to be doing it in a wheelchair with a long stick. We laugh together. He doesn't know that I am laughing at him, not with...

What a sucker for Watchtower.

Were you aware of the shunning policy when becoming a JW

for those who became jws, were you fully aware of the societys cruel shunning policy whilst studying?

i absolutely had no idea such a policy existed until years later.

it really only hit home when reading the horrendous stories on the internet around 2002. .

The Scriptures say to "let him become to you as a man of the world".

This is for they who'd reject the moral principles that Christians of the time were expected to adhere to.

First, it wasn't to apply to they who would inquire why the leaders of the religion, behind our backs, joined the UN and betrayed us.

Second, JWs DO NOT treat anyone "as a man of the world" when DFd.

Which man of the world do we shun? We go to their doors and invite them to commune with us on Scripture. Even if they don't want it, for God's sake, we try to do an end run on their mind and get them to talk Scripture.

"I'm not interested", they say. We say "but why" and refuse to leave. No shunning there.

But dubs that ask "how it is that we can take fractions of blood donated by apostates of Christendom but we can't donate blood ourselves?" .. these, our brothers, WE SHUN.

Or ask "Has anyone at the doors asked you about the letter Watchtower wrote when they disassociated themselves after their secret affiliation with the UN?"

I went on a shepherding call with this one older elder ("R") a few years back. He was intent on getting a 'sit down' with this one older couple who hadn't been at the hall in quite a while.

We went to their house and "R" banged on the door (neurotic) till the old man came down. The old man said quite begrudgingly...'oh yeah... your here so I guess you gotta come in'.

Up we went.

We sat down and R commenced. Yes, R was going to set all matters straight.

This is the interesting part.

R was trying to correct the old man's viewpoint and started to get off track. Before long, R was telling them about his own history, and how the Society said 'that the end should have been here long ago'.

R went on and on about how R worked for this big bottling company and R was offered to put money into a retirement package and how the company would meet his contributions. "But", as R went on, ..."'the end was so close' we were told and so I just spent all my money and put nothing away and now I am putting money away and I am old and I have to keep working until I die...."

The older, non attending couple stared at R as he ranted.

I thought to myself... 'R... what are you, some kind of freaking idiot?' ...'you're here to encourage them and you are giving them the very reasons for staying away from the KH.'

But, older couple is brain dead. They began back at the hall. There they all are since then, R and the older couple, sitting in their chairs chanting the Watchtower endsong.

They should make a tv series about the walking brain dead. JWs staggering down the street to the hall to feed. Their arms outstretched, their heads tilted back and to one side as their eyes are rolled over in their heads. And you can hear them moaning 'the slave, the slave'.

Many have said that their motive in exposing the Watchtower is to force the Watchtower to change its policies on child sexual abuse.

I asservate that the Watchtower cannot exist except for the continuation of its current policy, that of secrecy and denial.

Jehovahs Witnesses cannot be "the same" as everyone else. They have spent more than a century trying to convince the world that they are above and superior to everyone else.

It cannot be such that JWs are allowed to reply "we are no worse" than other religions.

How does it happen that they can march from door to door saying, in effect, 'our religion is superior and all must join or die' and then exclaim "we are no worse"?

No. Let us leave off that pretense. As JWs we've spent already too much time masquerading around with a second face.

This is about killing Watchtower. Killing it dead.
