is there some purpose to be gained by attacking bill bowen and silentlambs?

do you honestly feel that bill bowen can be equated to the gb and is exercising his own form of brainwashing?

are his motives so disingenuous?

is anyone else having trouble accessing the site?.

also, ive been considering attending the march on the 27th but have had no reply from bowen (or anyone else) in regards to the several emails ive sent.

Toupee forced to resign...

in a press conference early this morning, james a traficants (d - oh) toupee announced that it will relinquish its position (effective immediately) due to the impending incarceration of the aforementioned traficant.. .

the toupee further stated that it has enjoyed a lofty association with traficant for many years but that legal authorities have forced the departure.

rumors of an appeal abound, but informed sources are convinced that the toupee doesnt have a pate to stand on.. .
It might be too soon to think about, but.

id like to see them bulldoze the kingdom hall in daffenville and erect a memorial park in tribute to all silent lambs.

they could possibly have a wall or plaque with the names of the silent lambs.

it could be thought of as a place for reflection, healing, and new beginnings.

Who should shoulder the majority of the blame?

the obvious thing that has everyones attention now is the fact that the society (and by extension, local congregations) blatantly shelters wrongdoers (under the two witness rule) while at the same time, banishing those who attempt to bring the acts of these persons to light.. could it be, that the strict interpretation of biblical guidelines severely restricts the movement of local elders as to how they are able to address these issues?

even if they wanted to think out of the box or take a more liberal hand at bringing these wrongdoers (child abusers, pedophiles) to justice, (and at the same time possibly take a more protective attitude toward the innocent accusers), does the society really allow that much latitude or independent decision making to be exercised by local congregation officials?

mind you, im not excusing the culpability of the local congregation elders.

todays edition of usa today reveals that until recently, south africas powerful mining industry offered women two lines of work; secretarial or prostitution.

but, the countrys new constitution has paved the way for them to actually work in the mines, alongside the men, for the same pay.. i imagine that the women in south africa have got to be pretty thrilled with the prospect of a third alternative.. i wouldnt be at all surprised to see future news releases along these lines.... mattel announced today its plans to release a new mining barbie, said to be targeted at pre-teen, south african girls.

a spokesperson for the california based toy manufacturer said this completes a series of three dolls released for this particular market.

i offered the following personal statement on another board and after a few favorable nods, thought it might bear broader scrutiny.... notice to jehovahs witnesses.

i will not accept literature nor permit myself to engage in conversation with anyone who supports a religious organization or the governing leaders of an organization who, defend, condone, protect, or turn a blind eye toward suspected, known or convicted child-molesters or pedophiles.

furthermore, i consider any and all who associate, support or promote such an organization to be as guilty (by association), as the criminals so zealously and fervently protected and insulated by their leaders.
