Hi everybody,
The battman also is hanging out in South Florida.

Staying in "stealth mode" for now and yes it is so
nice to sleep in, play golf, or do anything besides
d2d routine on Saturday.

Haven't been to a meeting since 2000 and even
missed the wine tasting (er passing) this year.

And absolutely no no no guilt. The comments on
this board are so very helpful. Often I nearly start
crying at some of the very funny stuff and also
for some of the very very sad things.

i have read the various posts here an i have my own story to tell i amstill a witness not as active as i used to be but stillfaithful i think the main problem that jws have is that they put c.o's m.s's elders and the like on pedestals and when you do that you set yourself up for a letdown and when that person does something you dont think is right you are letdown but one should not let this block his/her relationship with jehovah.

HHMMMM????? I was taught by the WT that the
people were guided by Judges (rutherford too?) and
they later wanted to have King's just like every
othe Pagan country. Jah said that would not be

I agree that this clearly happened. So who was the "spokesman"
in 101AD. 307AD, the Pope, Constantine? 1492? 1799? 1879???
1914? 1925? 1935? 1941? 1951? 1975??? (i was there) 2000??

I was taught that the mark of a profit/spokesman (individuals)
would be the truthfullness of their WARNINGs!! (sorry to yell).
IMVHO it seems that the profits were always "ranting" about the
current admin. goverment, king, blah blah blah. So much so
that they were often killed for these warnings. Try to warn of
ANY inaccuracy, simple mistake, or worse, coverup and you too
will be "killed", as in consigned to death (df'd), by your brudders,
family, friends, business associates.

The "stones" would cry out HIS message. Jah is very organized,
as the beautiful universe shows, but certainly does not need an
"organization" and the 6,000 yo track record seems to completely
show what folly organizations are. Please read what CT Russell
siad about this subject,.

Man 'o man am i on a rant here. Starting to feel better tho. whewww.

what where you looking for from the JWS

i cant say i sought the jws out.

i had little choice , as my parents did the seeking, i hold them harmless, they did not investigate it beyond the wtbts pubs.. i did however at a point go it on my own, did the water dipping ore 1985 , so i feel, no allegiance to a group i vowed nothing to.. there was a point maybe 2 or 3 months when i felt i had a realtionship with god during my stint with the jws.

unfortuanately for me i lumped , god and them together and dismissed both together for a long time.. my question though to all here is this.

i was reading about how an internet company wants to transmit timothy mcveigh's execution over the internet on a pay-per-view basis.. it disturbed me that society appears to be drifting backwards in this regard, that not only are there people who want to make money from this situation, there are also many people apparently willing to view it for entertainment purposes.. of course, nothing would pack in the historical crowds like a public execution.

but the gradual enlightenment of society made public executions a footnote of history, and the death penalty appeared to be following.. and that made me consider what my attitude is to the death penalty itself.. in wt land the death penalty is considered to be "divine justice".

the bible brims to the covers with accounts of executions using the most excrutiating methods, such as stoning.

the "hang 'em" era was when i was a believer
in wt dogma.

and look up foreknowledge and foreordination.

when you said "more" did you mean "any"?
or were you saying that it would be "more"
than you are presently receiving.

could, or would, you define "more". i am not sure

Does the Watchtower break up famelies?

my word it does.. when i started studying with the witlesses all of my family and inlaws deserted me for following a stupit cult.

my wife divorced me and my children won't talk to me.. that's ok because according to jdubs that proves it's the truth.. as i progressed in "the truth(tm)" all my friends started to abandon me because i was always going to those booring meetings.. when i found someone i liked in "the truth" and started associating with her, some of my witness friends tried to break up the friendship.. ie break up another family before it even starts.. after i married her without getting the elder permission, some of my jdub friends tried to df me, to show how much they loved me.. when they failed to df me some of my witless friends decided to shun me anyway even though the elders pronounced us no guilty.. i should have sued the bastards for slander.

today i'd just give him (the instigator) a good hiding.
