  - the first 9 ships to carry prisoners from britain arrived at port jackson.

  nine ships carrying 759 convicts and their guards left portsmouth on may 13, 1787, and arrived at what would be the first penal colony in australia, new south wales.

  wt obviously must realize now the value of those that tried to enforce change on them.

  i think if it wasn't for these people doing what they did wt would be in even more drama now.

  so my question is do you ever think wt would voluntarily reinstate and publicly apologize to bill bowen and barbara anderson for all their hard work in bringing reform.

  Bill Bowan and Barara Anderson are the heroes of the JW religion but the JW religion are way behind in seeing that. Bill and Barbara could save the JWs from financial collapse at least in Australia

  How big a deal is the royal commission..? It seems to be not much...

  my understanding (very limited and maybe flawed) is that this commission has no teeth.

  if thats true why would the org care?

  send a few lawyers, go through the motions but in the end.... its a dog parking on a porch.

  the rothschild family will not allow the aussies to take any significant action against their religious wing (mormons, jws, adventists, etc.).

  the worst outcome for the borg will be a relatively small fine and a deadline to change their rules.

  that is all..

  The law will not change significantly but fines and compensation payments to victims will cripple the WT if they don't comply.

  The reasons for the RC is to identify problem areas so their is no excuse.

  At least they the JWs don't kill for apostasy like the muslim religion.

  There is no penalty for apostasy in the christian religion people come and go and exercise their own free will. We hope they stay but still regard them as christian brothers if they happen to join another denomination

  during yesterday's rc proceedings (wednesday 5th august 2015), one of the victim's lawyers questioned mr vincent toole, the jw organization's legal counsel for the australian branch office.

  she asked him why at least two of the jw elders who gave evidence last week refused to swear on the bible.

  mr toole appear puzzled by her question and said he did not know.

  the way she schooled terrence on the scriptures at the end of today's hearings was fantastic entertainment.

  i think this woman could have a long line of wt abuse victims wanting her to represent them.

  her questions are much better than bcgs lawyer.

  i actually started clapping at that point, as his honour explained to the wt type creep sycophantic slithery lawyer that........" i understand that we all have issues to face in life and .....that is a part of life...........however it has become obvious that this man ....is in such a position to assist with this investigation.....".

  it boils down to the fact that stewart outright accused the latest witness of misleading the royal commission and this lead to some document searches which led his honour to conclude that they had been protecting mr jackson.

  this was a warm and fluffy moment folks.................brilliant stuff!!!!!
