you're an interesting bunch and i look forward to getting to know you better.. i started studying with the jw's when i was 16. i was dating my husband, 10yrs my senior, and he heard they had the truth.

i was in an abusive household, so i moved in with him, studied, got married at 17 and baptised at 18.. i believed in it hook, line and sinker for 22 yrs.

we all love it when people pay attention to us or our opinions.

but what i am talking about is people who crave and force attention from others.

not just people who talk a lot, but those that force everyone around them to focus on them and them only.. in one of my classes there is a woman who raises her hand to ask a question, but never really has a question to ask.

Inability to take hints

when people would say, "i don't understand your beliefs on dfing," or, "i don't understand your beliefs on the end times calculations," (even after these were explained)....i used to think i'm just smarter than them.. now i realize they comprehended it just fine but were trying to say, "i don't agree with you," in a softer way.when people would say, "i'm too busy to talk to you right now," i thought that was an invitation to return.. now i realize they were trying to say, "please go away and don't come back," in a softer way.

Grad. party... hard core jw relatives won't come cause we invited d'fed relatives

our son graduated this year.

we are having a graduation party for him at our house and decided to invite all of the family.. some jw's relatives aren't coming (some are still deciding) because they found out their would be d'fed relatives (2) there.. my question is... is there any society info to counter the hard core jw stance on this?.

on a funny note the one jw declined the invite..... in his reply he called it a graduation gathering instead of party, unbelievable.. thanks for any help.. .

I just wonder what the wt teaches on this right now?

I would like to have all the family come. I think they would come if I could show them

something from the society that would allow it.

as ive made it known on this board, my current status with the watchtower bible and tract society is that of inactive.

this is a loophole i have utilized, to keep an open channel of communication with family members in the organization.. i want to clarify with everyone: i do not hold any doctrinal ideas, theology, ideology, opinions expressed in any form by the wtbts.

therefore, to simply put, i do not believe in the wtbts in any way, shape, or form.

Renaii is extremely ruthless about getting people into the Witnesses. It's likes a desperate need to prove that she made the right decisions and it needs grand gestures. Then she gets very disapointed if others just shrug their shoulders and wash their hands of her. A desperate cry of "look at me, look at me, I hate ex-witnesses now!" in her mouth unable to go away, craving attention even if it is in the negative.
There is something very unusual about you !!
People like to rationalize why a person is the way they are and eventually come to a conclusion about the person.
Nutin doin there for you!
One thing for sure.... you sure waste alot of peoples time including your own.
