Holy smokes, I don't give a rat's ass, as the exprexion is (i believe) what happens to the Borg in 2014. I have my life to live, maybe a second degree will be started and finished then, kids hopefully (a hubby would be welcome too, hehe).

Bullying is a crime!
by Gill inthe last few months have been very difficult for us.. my husband has been experiencing bullying by his boss at work and his management team.
there is no reason for the bullying....it is just happening.
he is repeatedly being asked into investigations and disciplinary meetings for issues so small that his trade union representatives are at their wits end and have finally decided to call in the head of their trade union and a lawyer to begin going down the road of constructive dismissal.

Gill, I know. When I called in sick (burn out combined with daily migraines) I felt as though my life was over. I loved my job, loved my life and envisioned that by calling in sick - I'd loose everything ...
But, with time came perspective . Your health and happiness is what counts the most, if your husband can easily find another job - well that ensures you don't have to worry on that front. If he feels to be not appreciated, and not valued for his skill ... well perhaps he needs to find an employer that will value all that.
I do understand that this entire situation is stressfull. So remind him that his home is a haven, and his family is all that really matters. I wish you well.

Well that just sucks. Having had a break-down myself, I know it can be devastating. So I would take the docters advice, and call in sick so that he can get away from work-stress. And not to sound insensitive - but it is *just* work, even though that can be a hard thing to realise at the moment.

No idea. Had the same thing happen to me once, and try as I might - the end result was that I threw it away.

Buy a donkey for Christmas
by Doug Mason init is often difficult to see past the crass commercialism that is associated with christmas.
instead of buying one another presents, some families collect the money they would have spent on one another and donate it to a genuine charity to enable them to buy a donkey, a well, support for an orphaned child, or some other essential need for villagers in a struggling third world country.

i have wanted to go there ever since i was a kid and now it's happening.
i know i'm going to be 6 years old when i go through those gates.. due to my current health issue, it's going to be physically demanding for me, but i'm going to do my best to see everything i can, for as long as i can and enjoy every second of it.

Well, I started to out as a smart, dilligent and devout to Jehovah, Woman.
Then I became this obstinate, headstrong yet devout to Jehovah, Woman.
And finally I became bad association as being an incouragable flirt and smart-ass Woman.
--
Note that I have no objection being a Woman, but I did hate the condesending elders. As if my brain was impaired by not having male attributes
