scary statement made by elders' wife
by shadowolf inso a few months ago i went with my family to meet for field service (ugh i hate it!!!).
so while we were meeting for service, an elders' wife began to talk about the 'great' spiritual food the fds had gave us at the recent dc.

Facebook is a menace to the fading JW! (and society in general)
by slimboyfat inmark zuckerberg says that the philosophy of facebook is that people only have one identity.
i think then it's fair to say he couldn't have had jws leading a double life in mind.. i was careful not to add any jws to my page, so i thought i should not have any problems.
i did however add friends and family, including family members who are former witnesses and some who are related to current witnesses.

by Essan ini typed in 'watchtower ngo' into google search the other day and was shocked to see that the top result was for a pro-wtbts site called 'jehovahsjudgement'.
i'm very disappointed by this because it means that one of the first sites jw's searching for the truth about the society's involvement with the un are going to come across is this deceitful apologetics page which tries to make it seem like the society affiliating with the un is no big deal and perfectly acceptable!.
this pro-wtbts site is successfully debunked by a response site - http://jehovahsjudgmentexposed.blogspot.com/ - which takes apart their excuses and manipulative deceptions fairly expertly, but still, this site doesn't appear when you do a google search and i had to look really hard to find it.

need to get a different attitude towards the abuse of children and also the UN issue.
individuals that are grasping at whatever they can to make it right with "Jehovah" in the wake of their own failings

Hey everyone here.
I haven't been here for a few years but these last couple of weeks I started checking it somewhat.
Anyway; this website has been around for years. This guy and I had it out a couple of times but he seems
to be totally void of reason.He does not have the brain grain in his head that nothing or anything he states will have anything to do with the fact
that the Watchtower has laid in bed with the Scarlet Wild Beast. They admitted that!! Why would they need an apologist if nothing happened?This guy IMO forms no danger to the honest non hypocrit mind.
Personally I think his website is a model example of cocnitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding conflictingideas simultaneously
Inquiring minds and honest minds won't fall for his crap. Keep on trying you dumb ass.

New Apostate here
by skitt ini did not know where to start, but figured the personal experience section was a good place to begin.
won't bore you with all the particulars today....but i was raised in "it" (wont call it the truth, cause it ain't) from about 1968. baptized in 1985, faded about 2001.....woke up from the insanity after reading ray franz forbidden book a few years ago(crisis).
only sorry i did not read it earlier....but there was that fear factor instilled in me.
