While awful, it should come as no surprise. We all know their rules. There's no time limit and not many technicalities to get around the rules. Some don't abide by them and many do.

he admitted to the congregation elders that he was fornicating with his ''wordly'' girlfriend.
the elders were following him and hiding in their cars to see what he was up to.

First, that's messed up if you're in it, and somewhat funny to look back on and remember that you once took so seriously.
Second, I couldn't help but notice that the white parents or whatever seem to always have darker complected kids. The magical unified borganization is so multi-cultural that even white parents are popping out darker kids. Obviously it may not be taken so seriously, but they way they force pictures to look a certain way always got to me. It's often so fake.
Third, they just gloss over that thousand year reign, going straight from Armageddon to after the final test. Yes, even if you make it through all of the awful and scary things they tell you about, you still have to endure 1000 years with Jehovah's Witnesses without losing your shit lest you be killed, and then you get to endure another awful scary horrifying time where Satan has his one last chance at you before finally you are good enough to live forever, of course as long as you don't screw up because we've already seen that perfection on earth to date is only batting .333, and that guy with the hit had to be the freaking son of god.

Glad you ladies and gents like what I put out there. If nobody listened whatsoever it still helps those that are interviewed to go through my process. And if it's not for everyone, that's cool too. We don't have to like the same things anymore. To each their own. From what I've heard if you have no detractors you're probably not doing much worthwhile or taking a stand so hate away if you want.

Well, then don't listen. It's a podcast that you can download and take with you. There's a pause button and you can resume. 60,000 people have made it through listening. Clearly it's not for you. Some like long form stories and getting to know people and their stories. Others like something short. I'm sure my podcast isn't the only venue where you can hear from someone. The guy took a risk and put himself out there. I give people whatever time they need to walk through their lives. I'm sure you've spent longer than that saying the same things over and over on this forum. You've probably spent longer playing the JW game at meetings you don't want to go to.
Take a chance. Or don't. I've put my time into it for those that want what I do. If you want shorter stories, by all means go out and do them.

recently, over the last few years, i saw many of my students who were still “ in the truth “ lament that i was no longer associating or active in the faith.. i do feel bad that i did such a good job that most of them still are in the cult.. are your teachers still around or did they wise up and leave the lord’s organization?

I assume my mom is still out there somewhere. She must be, as I got notification of some estate stuff and some checks from a wrongful death lawsuit (or something like that, when honestly his death was entirely his fault) from my dad's death. She's doing the suing, so she's still out there I guess.

someone new would "come into the truth", and be so enthusiastic and keen, that we would all joke about "locking them up for the first 6 months because they would preach to everyone".
jws thought that the passion for "learning the truth" was the issue.

i saw the video called why i left jehovah's witnesses from exjw analyzer where he talked about this.
