  some of these answers sound like they are from that book "The Rules". I say, first break all the rules! and yes, I think it is FINE to ask a man out on a date. I also agree that, at least with dating - the asker should be the payer. I've asked fellas out and vice versa. no big either way.

  just a little breaking news:.

  after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

  last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

  no goodbyes or swansongs for me, and I have been severely inactive for some time. Most of the posters (thread author excepted) that interested me are long since gone ... so I cruise through very infrequently. HOWEVER, who gives a fig if someone wants to construct a good-bye? a little thread with some words of explanation...no skin off my nose. If it is something I don't think I'm interested in, I apply the same self-management/censorship I do with television, the ringing telephone, the buzzing doorbell ... *you get my drift* ... and I IGNORE IT! I say refer to The Four Agreements: Don't take things personally. Don't make assumptions. Be Impeccable. *the 4th one don't apply, if ya want to know it look it up yer dam self* and bisous' most favorite: Live and Let Live! *sends friendly muah's to the ever stimulating LT*

  i cant remember whos who, so very happy that we have many many new ones,,,, .

  let me tell you i love you all ...i have been so respected by you all & shown much unconditional love..... i know many have my home e-mail..... so if any want to - they know what to do.. i have been on here a long time.... gus,gus ( my wonderful daughter still posts on occasions.

  grace, best wishes....you were one of the first people to greet me ... I remember your warm welcome and Seven006's jokes on my first visit , which inspired me to return. I miss those days of posters and posting.... but thank you for all you brought to this board and take care !

  Hello. How are you? Things are good with me. You asked for Evelyne's phone number. I haven't heard from her, she has been gone for 6 months and has avoided contacting me. I'm suprised by her behavior after 14 years of living together She always dreamed of living in the sun in Martinique. Me, I think the mistake I made is being too nice, being too free and wanting to be happy. this is what happens. She was the woman I loved most, but she did not respect my feelings. It is sad to give up so close to the goal . I send you big kisses and see you soon!

  how dumb and pathetic.. no extra training should be necessary for even slightly trained and disciplined soldiers.

  i guess it is for some of the rabble that the us call "troops" though.. of course the real problem is not just those on the ground that have committed the latest attrocity.

  it is the chain of command that tried to cover it up and all the way up to the president who sanctions bombing of civilian targets with nothing more than rumour for "intelligence".. from now on america, you are on your own.

  karma's a bitch people and unfortunately, our beloved USofA will most likely be meeting up with Ms. K more and more, especially if y'all (the 51% who voted for the moron) keep on your same path .... bwahahahhaaaaaaa.... so, it is nice to know some things don't change....one can be gone months and months, and come back here to JWD and find a lot of the same old rhetoric on every side.... kind of reassuring in a funny kind of way.... there's no place like home...there's no place like home....
