Describe Yourself Without Being Revealing.
by Golf inas i told kl, i'm not sabotaging her thread, mine has a twist, for example, my wife 'descibes' me best by always reminding that i'm not 'normal.
' this means i do things differently than the ordinary person as i'm into many activities.
many of these activities involve people.

Would you rather be a sports star or a rock star?
by Dustin ini was thinking the other day, if i could choose to be an awesomely gifted basketball player, or an awesomely gifted singer/guitar player; which would it be?
in the end i decided i'd rather be a rock star.
better parties, and definitely more of a bad boy image.

I've already been name called and beeyoch slapped on two threads this morning.
Have no fear Randy, it's hard to understand the mind of a RWC, but they'll just have to learn to love you anyway, they don't have to like you, but I know you can sell raid to a bug, or salt to a slug. It's all good!!! -

JWs and Clothing
by the_classicist inwhere i live, its not usual for people to "dress up," especially business people and executives, you are more likely to see them with a button up shirt, khakis, and one of those fleece vests on.
so, on the whole, jws look very out of place wearing their cheap suits (though a few elders didn't wear cheap suits and they made that known, "look at this, i got a spot on my new $200 designer shirt" -- really, something like this happened).
but what i did notice is that, in my area, dressing guidelines usually weren't followed, or enforced for that matter, for good looking women.

So was it just me, or does everybody at the Memorial get to participate in the near to identical pomp and pagentry that the world and Christendom presents during the Easter Celebration? The fancy hats, new clothes, dresses and suits and what not.
Somethings I guess we just gotta' hold on to, even if we try to deny that they have no connection to our past, or our desires.

Mmmmm... I like my new bed! 8)
by Elsewhere ini've had the same queen size bed for about six years.
after putting "quite a few miles" very uncomfortable.
last week, after too many sleepless nights and waking up with back aches i ordered a new king size sealy posturepedic (the kind with a thick comfort pillow layer .

You've got to be in heaven now elsewhere, we bought a new one about a year ago, a Rodeo Drive by Sealy, a no flipper, BIGGIE SIZE. It is the max, nothing like sleeping on a good, strong, firm matress. Watch out that you don't spend all your time in bed and away from us, though!!!

Tell us about you
by kls inso many posters and most communicate either on this site or have the pleasure to meet in person and know much of some posters lives ,but for thos who don't ( like me ) let's share some of our lives with others,,, .
are you married or single?
= me married .

Are you married or single? Married, yes KLS.
Do you have children ?- Biologically, No, I , however am a Stepparent.
Do you have pets?- Unfortunately, several, a dog, a cat, and they do tollerate each other, one lowly neglected goldfish who we have to constantly ask everyday, " Did you feed the fish today?" and one Red Tailed Boa Constrictor, who I tollerate, otherwise he'd be living in a dessert in Arizona somewhere. It belongs to the stepson and is fed about 4 previously killed rats a month, frozen and defrosted. I couldn't take the sight of watching the snake kill poor, helpless, defenseless little white mice for food, so the Petco People suggested using already killed dead rats, sits much better on my conscience now.
What are your hobbies?- Cars, cars and more cars, The 68 Dodge Charger is one of my top 10 dream cars. KLS, when I was a kid in L.A. they were the coolest cars to see, I played with Hot Wheels, and had several 68 Dodge Chargers in Hot Wheels as a child, and I still collect them to this day. When I'm not on JWD all day, I'm often stuck driving Gran Turismo 3, the only true driving simulator and racing game on the planet to date, at least until Gran Turismo 4 comes out, I'm a sometime auto mechanic now, took it up in community college. I drive a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII, very fast car!!!
I like going to classic car shows - Just once before I close my eyes for the last time, I want to own a Hot Rod, a Mustang with a serious 5.0 engine, or a Z/28 Camaro!!! Cars are my life, that and a nice Yamaha TL6, 6 string Bass Guitar. So cool to know you're a car nutt too!!!

So is it me, or do some folx use spitting as a means of communicating contempt and disrespect for someone? I've, on several occasions seen some of my folx from 'da hood look at me and just in general, took to takin' a spit, hhhhuuuuurrrrkkkkk, thewwwwww!!!, wipes his nasty f'n mouth. It's either me, thinking more of myself and the situation than necessary, or this is just one unfortunate aspect of communication, regarded as manly but is the absolute height to ignorance and incivility!!!
