What surprised me even more, were those who were raised around the truth, and didn't think it was the truth at all. I used to wonder, what was it that they know, or even think they know, is wrong with Jehovah's Organisation? How can anyone be around Jehovah's people as well as his organisation, and feel that it is not the truth? Always befuddled me.

Ask not Jehovah's Organisation can do for you. Ask what you can do for the Book Publishing Co. The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society.

by inkling innot only am i not a smoker, i have never even tried smoking of any kind (besides a weird .
half hearted attempt at smoking blackberry tea from a homemade wooden pipe.

At 14 years of age, you think your getting away with something. The first real good hit off a cigarette and yeah, I was a little topsy turvy. Then you try for the high again, only to find that you're not succeeding at it. Then, before you know it, they put the handcuffs on you and you can't get out. You don't even recognise that they are handcuffs, at first. Then, one day, you just find yourself living in it, accepting it for what it is not. You're hooked, and you don't even realise it.
Cigarettes were a way of mentally trying to squash negative thoughts and emotions, for me. Negative thought? Strike up a Newport. I'll have only enough room to to concentrate on inhaling this cigarette. All other thoughts can just wait until I'm finished smoking. There was also the societal smoke. You light up, I light up one, as well. We could both enjoy a smoke, while we witled away a stolen moment on the job.

Wish me luck
by Abandoned intomorrow is my first day at my new job.
i'm looking forward to it but i'm a little nervous as well.
other than my own computers and a couple of friend's computers, i haven't done a whole lot of this kind of work since 2004. of course before that, i did it exclusively for eleven years.

Good luck, Abandoned. Heres hoping you get any sleep at all. Anticipating a new horizon always kept me awake. But tomorrow will prove to be promising, for you. Just you wait and see.

Scully, I think we, as Americans, we are finished. When it comes to the point that we are so blessed with time and energy to devote to things like this, then what else is there left to do? It must be me, though. That judgemental Jehovah's Witness reasoning that has infiltrated my mind to the point of shaking my middle finger at everything.

Three years on JWD. What I have learned.
by wanderlustguy init's almost impossible for anything someone does to be about anything except them...not necessarily bad, but true.
we can only truly see things from our point of view...period.. being broke is better when you are with friends.. there are real people here.
know that at all times.. sometimes you have to be there for someone when it isn't convenient...do it anyway.. frostbite hurts...bad.. pay attention at all times...this thing (life) moves really fast and a little screw up can turn into the mother of all clusterf*cks in a split second.. i don't know sh*t.. .

Just did a google search, and seems these are quite popular with young people. Called a spudzooka. Interesting how much energy these kids invest in conjuring up things to do.
