  CO visit: God is in 5th dimension

  we had the special exiting visit of the co this week, a real spiritual feast!

  we are so happy and blessed!.

  he told us in his talk about were is god residence that god's residence is in the extra phsical dimension, and this is the place he and all spirit creatures lives.

  nicolaou, actually I believe we are free to choose for ourselves what we will do. I don't like to entertain the thought that Satan might have been correct since this (rightly or wrongly) would make me on his side and not God's. I suppose it is all a matter of doing what we, as individuals believe to be in our own best interest. None of us can be absolutely sure but ultimately (as with all things) those who make the best choices reap the best benefits. We will all just have to wait and see who has made the wisest choices (or if there is no afterlife then it doesn't matter anyway).

  This means that evil, evil as an alternative, existed alongside with the existence of God since "the beginning of time". That is, God is not the only "thing" that has existed for all eternity.

  Not true! Evil is not a tangible something it is simply the doing of something that is not in harmony with what God says should be done. Animals freely have intercourse with a variety of mates, is this evil? No, but if humans do the same it is evil simply because that is not in harmony with God’s way for mankind.

  In what way does free will have anything to do with it if god is going to destroy anyone who doesn't do it his way?

  There’s a big difference here, God is the creator we are the creation. The creator of something has the RIGHT to decide how it is to function. We should not be so arrogant as to think we are on equal footing with God.

  Well, I suppose that is one way to look at it but is not what I believe. A belief that there is no God means that we are not accountable to a higher power and therefore we are free to decide for ourselves what is right or wrong. This is a familiar sounding argument and its' source is Sa.....

  Yes, He is A God of Love! This is not to be confused with the idea of some sappy feeling. God love us but he will not forever tolerate those who refuse to to walk by His righteous standards. God's standards are designed to benefit those who practice them and if everyone practiced them then all of our problems would be solved. As far as God executing people that is really an act of love for those of mankind who will practive what is right. Even human governments execute people as punishment for some evil deeds. Also, God did not create evil. God created intelligent creatures wh have freedom of choice. Many of us have chosen to do evil things and we don't need to be blaming God for our own choices. There are a lot of good parents who have raised children who turned out bad. It is the kids who are bad, not the parents.

  i actually never liked the memorial.

  it was`nt a very spiritual occasion at all really.

  i hated feeling guilty about not doing the scheduled bible reading.

  The reasoning on the statement I heard was that God could not be contained by his physical creation.

  This is IMO correct but from a slightly different reasoning. God created the physical universe, which logically means he wasn’t in it. Where God is, is a riddle we cannot solve since anything you can come up with would have to be a creation of God.

  Converting Muslims

  there's a couple of posts on here tonight about a carton with dubs trying to convert a muslim terrorist and it got me thinking.. does anyone here personally know of any muslim converting and becoming a dub?

  i imagine it must be a huge step for someone doing that, it goes against their religion and their ethnic cultures.

  I started a Bible Study with a Muslim back around 1974-75. Everything went well until the fourth or fifth study when the subject of God's name was discussed. He said that God's name was Allah and I told him that Allah was a title not a name. He became very angry and threatened to cut my throat. End of study and no more return visits.

  Now that he got thrown out he may have to rethink his position on the JWs

  That’s my guess too. They won’t have him back and as time passes he will most likely grow bitter out of frustration.
