  TDS is still alive and well, it seems.

  The heavy-handed raid on Trump's Mar-e-Lago estate might even backfire, with Trump coming out of the episode looking better than before it started. At this point, the Democratic party and their supporters look distinctly unhinged. They will do anything to stop the Bad Orange Man, lol.

  What real story is this a smokescreen for? - Trump wants to run again in 2024, and the Democrats don't want him to because Trump would likely beat Biden to get back into power. Raiding Trump's home to find anything - anything - incriminating would derail any future political ambitions that Trump may have.

  being born-in and raised as one of jehovah's witnesses i remember a common theme or phrases used by the watchtower in its theory of why things are the way they are -.

  it's sad and weird when the images live on but the source succumbs to the human condition.. i'm sure canabis and plant based products helped her through the pain but i hope she didn't rely on them for a cure..

  Here's another movie which featured JWs in some way: Blue Velvet (1986) by David Lynch.

  Laura Dern's character Sandy is asked by Jeffrey Beaumont (played by Kyle MacLachlan) to pose as a JW because he has a few Awake magazines and wants to get into someone's house as a pest-control guy. Sandy is supposed to knock after a few minutes, posing as a JW, to see if he's ok.

  there are several prescription meds people use to relieve the pain of arthritis.

  they work by suppressing the immune system or by reducing inflammation.

  people also use otc anti-inflammatory pills, and even anti-allergy pills are reported to work because of being able to also reduce inflammation but people tell me that they are concerned to use some meds regularly because of potential side effects in long term use.

  I find it strange how social activists use the word 'privilege'; it's like the word has a different definition for them.

  Privilege (noun): a special advantage that a person has.

  For me, privilege is closely linked with wealth. The more wealth a person has, the more privilege they have. I'd imagine many other people think like this, too.

  I maintain that there are two types of privilege - earned privilege and inherited privilege, with both closely connected to wealth.

  For activists, though, privilege is connected with skin colour.

  I'm white so activists claim I have white privilege.

  I've never been called 'n***er' or been discriminated against because of my skin colour, therefore that makes me somehow privileged.

  Quick question: if a black or other non-white person goes through a whole week without being racially abused or discriminated against, have they just had a week of white privilege?

  Roy Devans has such a toxic personality. It would be funny if nobody else was hurt because of it.

  That screenshot of the exchange between him and 'Thai Pleasures' on page 457 just made me want to put my fist through the screen.

  Lloyd is one nasty b*****d, and no mistake.

  I hope he loses all or most of his patrons, I hope his ridiculous threats of legal action leave him financially ruined, I hope Dijana and the kids leave him. I hope he dies a sad and lonely man.

  Let me see if I've got this straight ...

  Lloyd doesn't have a proper job like normal people - he spends his time making money criticising the Watchtower.

  And he's asking for a cleaner to clean his apartment on the cheap.

  (So he doesn't clean or want to clean his own house.)
