Person of color = someone who is non-white. It could be an African guy, a mixed-race person, an Indian, a Chinese person, an Arab, an Abbo, etc.

Cultural Marxists wish to drastically change society (Feminists: 'let's smash The Patriarchy!'; trans activists: 'men who say that they're women can use ladies bathrooms'). Sadly, although being a minority, they have infected all sections of society.

The french language is very strict about this. There is no " it" - that's right, a voiture (car) is referred to as elle (she) and a chien (dog) is referred to as il (he).
Arabic goes even further. You is divided up into five pronouns:
anta - you (singular, masculine)
anti - you (singular, feminine)
antum - you (plural, masculine)
antunna - you (plural, feminine)
antumaa - you two
And they has three pronouns:
hum - they (masculine)
hunna - they (feminine)
humaa - them two
I like Arabic because it reinforces the gender binary. ;)

No, I'm not afraid of contracting covid. I wash my hands frequently and wear a washable face mask in supermarkets.
Here in the UK, lockdown has f**ked the economy.
We need to get children back to school next month, and sack any teachers who refuse to do their job.
NHS staff have been brilliant throughout the crisis. However, they don't deserve a pay rise because of the huge losses of hours and jobs in the private sector (NHS staff work in the public sector).
Life is never risk-free. We don't ban cars and buses because some people die in road accidents.
We must get back to some kind of normality.

New York City...OMG What Is Happening??

the police vehicles are being destroyed and torched and the rioting just goes on and on.. i regularly went to nyc sometimes once a month for years.

It's Shark Week on TV ... anybody watching the shows?

then all the killer stingray, whales and other sea creatures is interesting.. we watched moby's dick last night.
it's an old classic like jaws.

Generally speaking, a shark has one of three forms
Lamnid - these sharks have conical-shape noses, tails with equal-sized lobes, and heavy bodies. They swim with a distinctive stiff manner. Their body temperature is higher than the surrounding water, making these animals efficient swimmers in cooler waters. The Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is a typical example.
Carcharhinid - these sharks have blunt, flat noses and tails with a longer upper tail fin. This long upper tail fin drives the head downward, whilst the broad, flat nose acts like an aquaplane, keeping the head up and allowing the shark to swim through the water. These sharks often have flexible bodies and can twist and turn to chase prey. The Tiger Shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) is a good example.
And Benthic (bottom-dwelling types) - these forms are typically sluggish in comparison to the above types. These species often have the ability to pump water over their gills, allowing them to rest on the bottom and breathe. The Great White cannot do this - it must keep swimming in order to breathe. The Port Jackson Shark (Heterodontus portusjacksoni) is a good example of a bottom-dwelling species.

Jaws is a great movie.
I never tire of watching it.
I'm still surprised it had a PG-13 certificate in theatres and is rated 12 here in the UK (viewers must be aged 12 or older to legally view the movie).
