"New document about CAbuse. Any member of Cong can ask to see it. Says elders to tell police. Much more in line with real world."
My reply: "Glad to see Satan's wicked legal system forcing change. Shame we can't do it without outside pressure."Anon also says
The original looks like the format of the 2012 and 2016 documents however this cut and paste copy does not give paragraph numbering, underlining, bold or italic of the original. There are 73 pages in all but beyond what I have sent, pages 6 to 73 are only WT reprints of their articles (showing "the abundance" of care and spiritual attention they give.) It does specify that a congregation member or victim or family can go to the authorities. In my view they are trying to comply legally screaming and kicking and paragraph 13 tills gives wiggle room as to who determines whether a child is still at risk - the branch legal desk or local elders.

If the WT is a "money making machine"...who gets the money?
by NikL ini've seen claims over the years that wt is in the real estate, book publishing business and is a for profit enterprise at it's core.. can those of you that believe this to be the case tell me who benefits from all this wealth?.
the governing body lives in relatively humble conditions no?.
i've been curious about this for a while.

Yes, they like to trot out those stories from time to time.
- “We Would Like to Say, ‘Yes!’” w04 8/1 p. 32
THE branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria recently received a letter that, in part, says the following:
“Our son, Anderson, died when he was 14. Before his death, he was raising two chickens. He wanted to sell them and then send the money to the branch office as a contribution to the worldwide preaching work. But he died before they could be sold.
“In view of his desire, we, his parents, raised the chickens and sold them. We are sending the money to you as Anderson’s contribution. Because of Jehovah’s promise, we are confident that we will soon—very soon—see Anderson again. We would like to say, ‘Yes!’ when he asks if we carried out his heart’s desire. Indeed, we look forward to seeing not only Anderson but also a ‘great cloud of witnesses’ who will be resurrected.”—Hebrews 12:1; John 5:28, 29. -

by breakfast of champions inso last night it was announced at the local hall that the ldc had decided against building a new hall, and that the existing hall would be "renovated.
the prospect of a new hall has been dangled before this congregation for at least 10 years now.

I wonder how much of this will be Spain specific...
They did issue special letters about two months ago:
October 3, 2016 TO THE BODIES OF ELDERS Re: Minors
3 de octubre de 2016 A LOS CUERPOS DE ANCIANOS Asunto: Menores de edad
Therefore, it is not necessary that the elders obtain favorable certification from the Central Registry of Sexual Delinquents to continue performing their duties in the congregation.
