Fewer christians (and other religions) and more with NO RELIGION in Australia
by fulltimestudent inthe results of the last australian census are trickling out, and the results offer an insight into the changing concepts of contemporary aussies.. in 1966 only 0.8 % marked 'no religion' on their census form.. in 2001 those marking 'no religion" had grown to 16%.. and in 2016 those marking 'no religion" had grown to 29.6%.. so more non-believers than any other group.
catholics (the previous largest group) were now only 22.5% of australians.. ________________________.
the other interesting change is language,.

the Great Cntraction continues
by never a jw ini just learned that my wife's congregations will soon be disbanded.
her congregation will disappear (cahuenga spanish in north hollywood in southern california).
all the members will be added to other neighboring congregations.

at the time there was a scandal going on in the congregation where 2 couples basically swapped spouses with each other.
it was quite the scandal.

7 years for wife swapping! Hell I would take that as 7 years of plenty! Like the fat cows of Nebbu's dream! Not the wives though. They should be in the svelte class. And all wives if Co's and elders!. Yup Ill take the seven years and all the wife swapping I could get in those seven so that I could get another seventy seven!!!

by stuckinarut2 injust curious how we all think.. what prompted or influenced your choice of username for this forum?.
there are some really amazing names, and it would be great to hear the stories behind them.... mine was nothing fancy.
i just felt "stuck in a rut too" along with so many others.

Describes my temper and the reaction to the fact that the GB the bible the so called truth was all a hoax. I wanted to write the GB telling them to go F*** themselves and the elders of the cong. to piss up their backs. My wife and a few non -JW friends
advised me against the notion.

by The Searcher in....................then you couldn't have been "in the truth" nor was "the truth in you" until july 2013, because that month's watchtower was dedicated to reversing the following 8 "truths" and replacing them with opposing "truths".

The effing hypocrisy! The SOBs discourage couples from having children so that they could do more in the service of their Hobo and the GB.
But the moment the opposite is to their advantage- real or imaginary- they want to get the most mileage out of it.
I'm sure no one bothered with this guy till he got the rabbity award. Now its Hobos will. He is effing using this to his advantage. How the fcuk do they know this? They -on their own admission- are not inspired and have no way of knowing their imaginary gods will.So How do they arrive at this "living manifestation of Hobo's will" conclusion?

After all the anointed reach the pearly gates, are handed their crowns and pick up their scepters, shake hands with jesus and tell him He goes to the bottom of the pyramid for beaming down wrong information.
The GB and all its ass kissers are on top.
JESUS gets sent down to earth to live with humans and goes from. Congo. To Congo. With head shaved and in sackcloth and ashes and kneels and asks for forgiveness from those that survived Armageddon!
